The covers for 2016's The Ravening range from very racy to outright hardcore for the variant copies.
My dealer is crying because he ordered some and I took the bad ones (can't post them here but you can google them on adult ebay)

You know, I still find it really hard to believe that Marvel would actually create a character called Spider-Gwen. I mean, it just seems like the silliest, lamest idea imaginable. The fact that the character is immensely popular with the modern Marvel readership blows my mind and makes me wonder if I'm on the right planet.

I have no clue.

I have no clue. Yep. Gwen Stacy from an alternate timeline where she got bitten by a radioactive spider instead of Peter Parker. She was introduced during the Spider-Verse event a couple of years back. I was still reading the Spidey titles at the time and the introduction of Spider-Gwen was one of the things that contributed to me dropping all Spider-Man books from my pull list. It's just such an unbelievably bad idea and calling her Spider-Gwen is just the pits.

I've always preferred Gwen over *shudder* MJ, but this doesn't sound like the way.

They'd be like Marvel's grown-up Betty and Veronica, only better. Of course it would only work if they could bring back John Romita, Sr or Gil Kane to draw it. But yes, Spider-Gwen is as dumb an idea as the female Thor, (and She-Hulk and the rest, IMO, though I know I'm in a minority there)

It's not so much MJ in general I dislike, as much as MJ Parker. I know Gwen got killed, but that still doesn't mean Peter had to settle for an obnoxious woman because his first love was killed by a guy dressed up as a goblin. I personally like She-Hulk, well, not savage, but sensation She-Hulk on. Female Thor I've not read, but the idea doesn't strike me as interesting. Frog Thor now .... that's good writing. :-)
