Zatanna is nearly always hot, especially in all those Bolland covers.
Campbell is boring, same face, same pose, on over-inflated bimbos.
Any cover, well chick cover that is, by Amanda Conner is hot.
Most Adam Hughes covers do it for me too, he gets the right balance of beauty and sluttiness.
And lastly, Jordi Bernet, damn he can draw some smokin hot dames, they sizzle right off the page. I love having a modern artist put out work that evokes the greats of the 40s and 50s.

I never liked the fishnets; I think it makes her look like a prostitute. Maybe this is a generational thing. When I was growing up that outfit was something you saw fairly regularly on tv, worn by dancers on variety shows and things like that. I've grown to find Bolland's style a little dry and dull over the years, but I do like that Zatanna one. |

Whenever I see this cover I remember the comment a good friend of mine who ran a comic shop made when he saw it for the first time...."Man even ChoGlobes can't make Sue seem sexy to me." Now I can't look at a Frank Cho drawn woman without thinking of the term ChoGlobes and laughing hysterically at the ridiculousness of it. -M |
