This is one of my all time favorite comic covers. It had a pretty significant impact on me as a kid when I first saw it in an alternative comics catalog. I thought it was a brand new comic, and then when I was reading the blurb and I realized how old it was I at first thought it had to have been a typo. It looked contemporary to the other things in the catalog, which included The Death Of Speedy. It also seemed contemporary with Sin City at the time. It did not look like Golden Age DC and Timely images for sure. So although it would be two decades until I actually read an Eisner comic, I had a huge amount of respect for his art since the first time I saw this image. |

I have seen quite of few of these comics in my lifetime and I would never guess that they can be sexy in the first place and this one fits the bill. |
