I completely lost track of my reading a while back, but I might be able to figure it out. I've really only been reading new comics for the past few months.

Did a quick tally. I know I read some Archie stuff in the last couple months that i didn't keep track of.
Beyond that, though. Last year I read 1371 comics. This year it looks like the total is only 325. So it goes.
Definitely need to work through some backlog here, if only because I need to know which comics I want to keep and which I can get rid of. Need to make some space... for more comics, of course.

OK, I fell behind sometime around Thanksgiving.
Fortunately I'm also behind on reshelving and boxing things. So as long as everything I read in the last month is lying out somewhere, I should be able to catch up.

Read 420 comics for the year. 210 classic and 210 modern, split exactly down the middle.
Most popular publisher was Dark Horse with over 25% of my comics read, thanks in large part to Usagi Yojimbo Saga.
Least popular publishers were Dynamite, DC (not counting Vertigo), Bloody Gore Comix, and self published (no publisher listed) which got one title each.
I didn't read nearly as much Vertigo as I have in years past.
Favorite new series started this year: Jeremiah, Birthright, Hip Hop Family Tree, Aldebaran
Any comics I may read today/tonight will just be added to the January tally.

December was a busy month for me with 51 comics read.
I started reading Aldebaran and Area 88, loving both, particularly Aldebaran. Caught up on some moderns and started reading Elfquest where I left off back in the 90's on my iPad.

I ended up with about 1500 comics read... I was shooting for 2000, but I ended up reading alot more prose towards the end of the year, so that was OK. Hopefully at this time next year I'll be reveling in the fact that my to read pile is nearly gone!

I finished the year with 1363 read. Last years total was 1129. I'm calling it a wrap at this point to go to a NY eves party in Queens. Happy New Year everyone !

Well, I read the least comics I've ever read in a single year, but I also reviewed the most I've ever reviewed in a single year, so it balances out, as far as I'm concerned.
I also crossed the big threshold where I've read more comics in the past decade than I have left unread in my collection. Thus, if I keep my buying sensible, I should have my entire collection read by around 2030. I can't decide if I'm proud of that last sentence or stating it with sarcasm.
