So often we find that those things that pleased us immeasurably as children now appear slight or (god forbid) inconsequential. Your posts make me forget that sad fact. The Mighty Hercules - Daedalus Becomes A Giant (Remastered)17th Show of the 1st Season.This is one of the most exciting shows of the 1st season of where Daedalus became a Giant - This was the 17th Episode of the 1st Season and one of my personal favorite because it was one of Hercules most difficult spot to be in when he lost his ring in due process of fighting the Giant Size Daedalus. It was a great team up of Hercules and Newton here and I consider this show a sentimental favorite of mine for years.  Here's a picture of one of the scenes in this cartoon that I just shared with you. I'm happy to find a Re-Mastered Copy and this is the Show in Complete Form and I thoroughly enjoyed watching again this morning. I will try to find shows that I do remember well and post as many that I can.

The Strength Potion
Hercules (1960's cartoon) - Daedalus Concocts A Brew; Daedalus drinks a brew that gives him the strength of one thousand men, and then proceeds to rob the oldest and feeblest man in Caledon. The annoying Newton makes himself useful for once. One of the funniest cartoon around and certainly enjoyable because of Newton shines here. This is the 10th show of the 1st Season. I remember watching it as a kid back in the mid 60's and it's one of my favorites because the teamwork of Hercules and Newton at the end and the cute wink at the end of the cartoon made it all possible.

You know when I was a kid, I thought Newton was funny, but now as an adult I find him a bit annoying since he always repeats sentences.  |

77th Show of the Mighty Hercules
The Powerless HerculesQuick Rundown: The evil wizard Daedalus has found an evil jewel - the Phoenix stone. This stone will not only remove Hercules strength - but also transfer it to Daedalus himself. Can Newton & Tewt find a way to turn the tables before it's too late?  This is one of my favorites because it's shows that Newton and Tewt worked together to solve the mystery of the Powerless Hercules and I like the scene of them finding out that the Phoenix Stone was responsible for the whole mess and figure out how to reverse the powers back to Hercules from the evil wizard Daedalus. This is from the 2nd Season of the Mighty Hercules Cartoon Show.

One of my favorites in the 3rd Season
Underwater Battle - The 118th EpisodeHercules battle a shapeshifter like Manhunter from Mars - in this thrilling and different episode from the 3rd and Last Season of the Mighty Hercules. This is one of the toughest battles for our hero here and I can say it's pretty exciting too if you were a young kid back then.  A candid scene from that cartoon!

75th Episode, 2nd Season - The Hall of Justice
One of the Best Shows Ever
Timon's Mother stumbles on an empty chest while out for a walk, but the palace guards that soon find her with the chest accuse her of stealing the gold that was once in the chest and arrest her. Brought to the Hall Of Justice, she's sentenced to a year in prison - but Timon & Newton vow to find who the real thief is-with a little help from a friend - The Mighty Hercules!
Newton's have a belt in this show and he uses it to summon Hercules - Similar to Batman's Signal from the Comic Books. A lot of DC Comics influences on this show.
Anyway, I wanted to do two shows and then some today - because tomorrow and the next day - I will be doing more research and find two more on late Tuesday or early Wednesday AM.

The Mighty Hercules - 2nd Season - The Wild BoarWe see the return of the wild boar of mount Erymanthus in this episode. Held in place by a magic chain that no human force can break. Daedalus has created a tuning fork with a destructive force - strong enough to shatter the chain. Anyone breaking the chain becomes the Boar's master. Hercules must find a way to get past the force of the tuning fork and prevent the beast's freedom. This is one exciting episodes in the second season of Hercules; and rightly so.

Season Three - 93rd Episode
The Magic Lamp Short Recap - Another of my favorites. Daedalus uses the Lamp of Electra to force Newton to work for him. Newton, aware of the consequences of the Lamp towards his friends, has no choice but to accept. But what will happen if Herc shows up to try and save his friend? I remember this show very well and it's one of the most unusual ones of which Daedalus uses a magic lamp of enormous power to defeat Hercules. Unfortunately, Hercules figured out a way to use that Lamp to turn the tables and the lamp was destroyed by the power it's creates.  I like the ending of this show - so much different than the usual. Unique and Heroic! This You Tube has automatic closed captioning - Just to warn you!

Mighty Hercules Board Game  Game based on the 1963 TV series, The Mighty Hercules. In the series, Hercules got his great strength from a magic ring given to him by his family, the father sky god Zeus. The object of the game is to get your Hercules character up to Mount Olympus. Has it's Own Comic Book too ... I read about a handful of these comics when I was a kid and I lost them in the shuffle moving out of my parents home when I first got a steady job.

It's interesting that I never saw the comic books. I was such a big fan of the show, I think I would have noticed them even though I tended to look past the Gold Key comics and focus only on Marvel, DC and Archie.
