Agreed. The latest one is very funny.... and the dog looks better than Snagglepuss Dunst.
Man, that's cold blooded! Does anyone like Dunst anymore? Did they ever? She was never really a good actress; she peaked with her role in Interview With A Vampire. She might've fixed her dental dilemma but its there on film and the net for life.

I would put Heath Ledger on my worst list and the Adam West Batman TV series and The Dark Knight Returns animated film on my most accurate adaptations list. I love Heath Ledger's Joker. In my top 5 super-villains.

Best and worst adaptations of comic characters to screen in superhero movies: Best: 1. Michael Fassbender as Magneto 2. JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson 3. Tom Hiddleston as Loki 4. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man 5. Mark Ruffalo as Hulk Worst: 1. Julian McMahon as Dr. Doom 2. Jessica Alba as Invisible Woman 3. Jennifer Garner as Elektra 4. Ben Affleck as Daredevil 5. George Clooney as Batman No love for Patrick Stewart or James McAvoy as Professor X? Had I just done superheroes, they both would be in the top 5. Had I just done super-villains, Ian McKellan would be in the top 5. I think the two characters were well cast.

Ju-on I think is the scariest movie I've seen. Despite a few repeated viewings it still scares me. I really don't know why I own it as I've admitted finally that I'm too scared to watch it.
Communion is another one for me, but that's a personal fear more so than the movie's intention to be so.

A 1999 Asian movie by Takashi Miike about a man auditioning for a new wife?

A 1999 Asian movie by Takashi Miike about a man auditioning for a new wife? Yeap. Of all of Miike's films, that's the film that disturbs me the most. The last 20 minutes alone are just insanity.

Haven't seen Ju-on, but I agree about Audition. Very disturbing film, on more than just the pure horror level.
I've lost track of Miike - has he been doing anything the last few years?

The conversation about Bales Batman reminds me of comedian on the radio I heard (whose name I can't remember now) said that he was always bothered by Bales Batman voice because it sounded like a drag queen that by the end of the night had just given up.
For me I thought that is was always over the top but when Batmans voice sounded scarier and more demonic than Scarecrows when Batman was under the effects of his fear gas, I just couldn't watch it anymore.
Also Ledgers Joker is the most sociopathic and violent of all the Jokers in movies or TV shows. I personally think it dumbs down the character of the years that I've read Batman comics. For me there are more things wrong with Nolan's Batman movies than Bale. That just happens to be the biggest one being the star character. While actors like Cillian Murphy and Aaron Ekhart who played their roles to a T, whose characters to me are far more interesting than the a Joker get no screen time.

5 Scariest Movies Ever Made (In No Particular Order)
</b> </div> I went to see Rosemary's Baby in the movie theater when it was released.I had just been fitted for eyeglasses at that time but did not want to wear them in the company of a certain girl.So me and her were in the back of the theater, the screen was blurry to me and I couldn't see what was happening. For months people talked about the movie and I'd just nod my head

Communion is another one for me, but that's a personal fear more so than the movie's intention to be so. Fear of Christopher Walken? No fear of aliens. Especially grays. But the whole abduction scenario is frightening for me. Christopher Walken is awesome!
