According to that link, he was "one-time ally of The Antibiotic Man". Doesn't sound very scary. "Cures infections and boo-boos in a single bound!"

Wow they made a hot wheels comic cool lol. With Alex Toth art to boot - which made it one of the best DC Comics of the Silver Age.

I thought we had some of those Hot Wheels comics when we were kids, but I don't recognise any of the covers when I look at them at mycomics.com . Would like to get hold of them now, regardless.

I can't imagine there's much of a demand for them, Although the price might still be high.

Even just regular citizens have to have the word "black" before their names.
I'm guessing there was another Mariah in her apartment complex? So the neighbors were like, "do you mean black Mariah, or Russian Mariah?"

This wasn't just a case of adding "black" to someone's name. "Black Mariah" (or Maria) was a common slang term for a police van - synonymous with "paddy wagon". See www.word-detective.com/2008/11/black-mariapaddy-wagon/. Also, from the song "Saturday Night Fish Fry" by Louis Jordan & Ellis Walsh: "Now they got us out of there like a house afire Put us all in that Black Maria Now, they might have missed a pitiful few But they got poor me and my buddy too"

Now I want a Marvel Super-Villains Team Up featuring Black Mariah and Pink Pearl. It's possible they're the same person after she did a Michael Jackson transformation.
