Since this was the '70s, there was a goofy edict that a character had to appear in costume for a certain percentage of the comic. Didn't that turn out to be completely mythological, at least as a broad edict? There might have been a few individual incidents, but not policy? |

Not according to Don McGregor's commentary in the Black Panther Marvel Masterworks, which is where I first heard it. |

Hercules in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE It was an odd place to find him, but these 2 minis were actually quite good. I love those minis. Only Hercules would decide that the way to stop Galactus is to challenge him to a drinking contest.
It loses something with the OGN, though. Suddenly, that timeline became far more serious. I did kinda like the mini that Layton did a few years ago, though.

on the one hand, it's adorable that Prankster and Terra Man rank among "Superman's 9 Deadliest Foes". . .but it makes me sad that Terra doesn't even face the camera! and who did Brainiac piss off that he doesn't get a face shot but PRANKSTER does? |
