I always wished Schaffenberger could have done some early Marvel work. Not sure what he would have been best on. Iron Man? Daredevil?

I remember I had this issue. I was so disappointed because the story itself was illustrated by (the great) Curt Swan. But that's how much I loved Schaffenberger's art!  |

I was going through my New Defenders the other day when I came across this cover. Perhaps the truly odd thing is that this cover actually depicts something that occurs in the issue (and is a prime example of sticking Wolverine on a cover in an attempt to boost sales):  |
