If this the end of the New 52 - What we call this series of Books? Just Curious?
Will DC Comics will stop printing New 52 on it's books?
I don't read Convergence at all - For your Information.

Looks like DC finally wised up and got rid of that hideous costume they had Black Canary wearing in Birds of Prey:

Based on that image, I'll probably be giving Black Canary a shot.

I'm saddened that Ivan Reis is doing the new Cyborg series. Mostly because I've collected every title he's been the regular artist on since Brightest Day but I absolutely can't stand Cyborg so I'm going to have to pass this time around. Ivan Reis is the very reason that I plan to purchase Cyborg #1. While I am not a big Cyborg fan, I don't dislike him and I can stand him. If DC wants me to purchase Cyborg #2, then issue #1 is going to have to be very compelling.
On a different note, there are about 5 mini-series in the new titles. I am guessing that DC is going to gage the $ales on the various Convergence titles and then Decide what new titles to produce in about 6-8 months.
Additionally, it seems that there is some room in their line-up for another weekly title or two. We already know about Batman Eternal; I wonder if they are planning something else too?

"In this new era of storytelling, story will trump continuity as we continue to empower creators to tell the best stories in the industry," DiDio said in the announcement. I'm kind of nervous about this statement. Yes, I want creators to have freedom but if continuity is ignored, we're going to wind up with a similar situation like we had in the 70s and early 80s where DC was forced to create Earth B so they had a way of explaining why Wildcat was able to team-up with the modern Batman or why Superman appeared to be on the same earth as the Marvel Family or why Solomon Grundy was powerful enough to go toe to toe with Superman in one story but was taken down by Batman in another story.

I don't see why they have to explain it. The same people who would complain about it not being explained will, no doubt, pick apart any explanation.

What about if they have Superman dating Wonder Woman in Justice League and Superman/Wonder Woman but in Action Comics and Superman, he's dating Lois Lane? I can just see things getting confusing and more convoluted over time.

I guess with regards to something like that, try to keep writers/editors in the loop about things going on "right now" in books. But stuff like Wildcat teaming up with Batman or Grundy beating up Superman doesn't need to be explained.

I agree on the Batman/Wildcat thing as they could have just said that one of them used the JLA transporter tube to travel to the other's earth. As for the Grundy thing, that came across as quite confusing to me. How could he be powerful enough to stand blows from Superman in one story but Batman could K.O. him in another story?
