I don't see why they have to explain it. The same people who would complain about it not being explained will, no doubt, pick apart any explanation. What about if they have Superman dating Wonder Woman in Justice League and Superman/Wonder Woman but in Action Comics and Superman, he's dating Lois Lane? I can just see things getting confusing and more convoluted over time. I could live with that. One Superman that's used to cross over with the rest of the DCU in Justice League and is dating Wonder Woman. One Superman in his own title, maybe he's at Byrne power levels and is dating Lois. Over in Action, Superman is at Silver Age power levels and dating Lana Lang. Kind of like the Adventures of Superman digital title or Sensation Comics running amok in the main DCU.

Because one guy dating two women is so inconceivable it would destroy continuity? -M It would make Superman look like a two-timing player. So like all those Silver Age years when Lori Lemaris, Lana Lang and Lois Lane were in play at the same time??? Dating is not married and doesn't always mean exclusive, and heroes like Spidey/Peter Parker managed to have dating relationships with Gwen and Mary Jane and Archie with Betty and Veronica and Josie and ...etc. and never come across as a two-timing player. It would all depend on the execution, the fact you assume it paints him that way or it would be a problem says more about your biases regarding the situation than the situation itself. -M

I just notice this topic. So does this mean that the heroes will go back to their iconic costumes again? I never cared for Superman's New 52 suit.

I'm sorry to see Batman and Robin go(at least that's what it looks like) but We are Robin sounds fun. Also Batman Beyond with Dan Jurgens and Bernard Chang is a must buy.

Then everyone gets a solid three months of comics until GIANT MUST BUY DC SEPTEMBER EVENT!!! arrives. That thought had occurred to me to. I wonder how DC will use September this time? To launch more new titles? Another round of #0 issues? I hope its not "Ten Years Later."

I am enjoying the Convergence 2-issue titles. I wouldn't mind follow-up issues for the September event this year.

While that would be nice, I would prefer to see ongoing for several of the Convergence mini-series: Justice Society Superman & Power Girl Huntress & Robin Plastic Man & Freedom Fighters Seven Soldiers of Victory Earth 4 Heroes Earth S Heroes

I would add the following to that list:
Nightwing/Oracle The New Teen Titans - I really liked Convergence: The Titans #1, but I would probably just consolidate the two Titans books by adding Roy Harper to the New Teen Titans.
