Yes. I know it's the far future, but I have to ask Rokk, "Why even bother wearing clothes?" Took me a while as a kid to realize he was wearing a huge horseshoe magnet.  ... with gloves. and you know he keeps it on, by using his magnetism to attach it to his nipple piercings. |

Jokes aside, that was that actual explanation of how the costume “stayed up.” Metallic filaments in the fabric and Cosmic Boy’s natural magnetic aura, which was the first and last time we heard of this byproduct of his power. |

This is the Legionnaire whose costume I question:  Sorry, Cosmic Boy, we can't let you out in that suit. I love Dave Cockrum's designs, but he definitely whiffed on this one! |

I like Night Girl's costume. The black swimming suit looks really good on the blue skin-tone.
(edit:) after a googleimage search I see the character I meant was Shadow Lass. Night Girl is a different character altogether who had a lot of different costumes, it seems, some good, some bad.

I like Jericho! I thought the Victorian thing worked well for his character. Cosmic Boy, yes... that one's pretty horrendous.

Another View of Cosmic BoyOne of the worst character design ever! ... I agree with everyone assessment here. It honestly depends on one's sexuality I think. as a young gay boy, I LOVED this (as well as Shadow Lass' black bikini, and Saturn Girl's hot pink one with thigh-highs). (and I HATED Element Lad's blue/green one with the arrow crotch)  To be honest, his Blue/Green one is the only one from this timeframe I didn't care for -- although Blok's later outfit was much better. (love Projecta's and Phantom Girl's outfits too).  |

I prefer Element Lad's pink/black costume to the crotch arrow one. The color scheme worked better and it had his symbol on it.

I'm not a fan of Saturn Girl's pink bathing suit, either. I prefer her Silver Age costume. I don't think I'm a real big fan of any of Element Lad's costumes. I guess this one is my farotie, even though I don't much care for this one, either:  ![]() |
