From FIRST PHOTO OF JASON MOMOA AS AQUAMAN FROM "BATMAN V SUPERMAN" RELEASED Posted: 4 hours ago | Updated: 4 hours ago TV/FilmCBR News Team, Editor33 Email Print Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you Aquaman! Director Zack Snyder has delivered a late night treat on twitter, revealing Jason Momoa's Aquaman from the upcoming "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice." Seeing as how Aquaman is the king of the seven seas, the title over the image -- "Unite The Seven" -- seems rather fitting, but is that all it means? “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters March 25, 2016.

Not bad...would love to see the full body/suit image though. Not sure if I'm liking the over abundance of tattoos here though. 'll have to see if it grows on me. Does seem as though there was some blonde streaks/highlights added to his hair to make a nod to the original.

I just don't care for it - It's tattooed, bizarre, too gothic-looking, and most importantly Jason looks rather freakish in that set-up. If I was to grade that outfit A to F. I would give it a D plus period.

I like it given the fact that they're going the Peter David Look with Momoa.
The problem is that it's hard to do Classic Aquaman without people saying "What's the "Fish-Whisperer" gonna do for this team?" Despite the great way he's been written over the last few Years the truth is that to the General public, "Classic Aquaman" will always be the Fifth wheel that was on the Superfriends who only contributed value when the case was ocean-based. Now most of us who have actually read/watched/followed Aquaman's career since then know he's much more but after the negaitive stereotype reinforcements that Aquaman got on Conan O'Brien and Family Guy there's just no way they can look past the old tropes.
Contrary to that is the Orin the Barbarian Aquaman PD gave us, who was a major player in the Justice League Cartoon a few years ago. the kids who grew up on that show know that Aquaman to be a heavy hitter and something of a savage Barbarian king who will fight the league as soon as side with them if it serves Atlantis better to do so. The fact that he's not Blonde and that he now sports all of these Tattoos is a minor cosmetic augmentation that furthers his image as a member of an Ocean based rather than land based culture.

I find it funny that a man who had his big break with Baywatch: Hawaii is playing Aquaman.

Am I the only one who thinks he bears a slight resemblance to Captain Jack Sparrow?
