I remember a movie that scared me when I was younger, but I can't remember the name... I need your help!
I probably saw it in the early nineties, on TV.
A group of people go into caves and there they discover a "civilization" of creatures that leave there.
I *think* the US army was part of the movie. I also remember a lake. I think at the end the king of the creatures is on a throne.
And the part that scared me : The team that is underground enters a big room and you can "see" the creatures running from behind a pillar (Stalagmites/Stalagtites I guess) to an other, without the people really seeing them... Just "shadows"...
I know that's not much, but hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about!
Thanks!

Nevermind!
Instead of searching for "Creatures" underground (for the past hour), I searched "civilization" underground, and I found it right away!! It's call "Secrets of the Phantom Cavern".

If you like this kind of movie I highly recommend The Descent (2005).

If you like this kind of movie I highly recommend The Descent (2005). Yeah that was an awesome movie. Creep factor 10 for sure. I have the sequel on my DVD list from Netflix, still a few movies before it. Is it comparable to the first?

No, it's absolutely awful and ruins the original film.

I'm not sure I like these movies...I just remembered being scared out of my mind at 8-10 years old...
When I was searching on google, all I was finding was Descent... Will check it out for sure, thanks!

No, it's absolutely awful and ruins the original film. Then I might skip then. Is there a spoiler free comment as to what about it you didn't like to say it ruined the first movie?

Well, depending on which ending you saw of the first film, it might change it... it softens powerful bits from the first film... and everyone in it behaves really stupidly. Otherwise it's just an inferior rehash.
