I Was A Male War Bride
Ann Sheridan and Cary Grant This 1949 Movie starring Cary Grant and Ann Sheridan is one of my favorite comedies in the 40's and rightly so. I just loved the way this movie started out and end with a bang. It's holds up it's own and one of the best there is. Man, they just don't make movies like this one ... It's often on TCM on an annual basis and I would strongly advise you to watch it - it's that's funny!

SHAZAM Pictures - Jason Bostwick as Captain Marvel Micheal Gray starred as Billy Batson here ... One of my favorites shows on Television back then ...  I usually don't notice that sort of thing, but he's got some really skinny legs. |

SHAZAM Pictures - Jason Bostwick as Captain MarvelMicheal Gray starred as Billy Batson here ... One of my favorites shows on Television back then ... I usually don't notice that sort of thing, but he's got some really skinny legs. was a Champion Volleyball player before he was signed on to play Captain Marvel. He was a little to athletic to play the part and that's didn't bother the Producers of the Show back then. He had a strict dietary regime back then and that's why his legs are thin and muscular and that's what helped him to land the role of Captain Marvel. |

Jason Bostwick as Captain Marvel. . .Micheal Gray starred as Billy Batson here ... One of my favorites shows on Television back then ... Mine too. Though the show bore little resemblance to the Fawcett comics, they absolutely nailed the classic Captain Marvel costume.
It was a thing of beauty, even when John Davey replaced Bostwick in the second season.

Hedy Lamarr Glamour Shots  Couple of my favorites of her in the mid to late 40's. These were used for Newspaper Clippings, Advertising, Movie Magazines, and even handed out to her regions of fans that adored her during her heydays of being an Hollywood Actress.
