From CW Contemplating A Super Hero Team-Up Show Posted February 26, 2015 by by Dan Wickline ArrowDeadline is reporting that the CW is developing a spin-off of Arrow and The Flash that would include some of the shows already established characters like The Atom (Brandon Routh), Firestorm (Robbie Amell / Victor Garber), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and possibly Caity Lotz… since her character has died on Arrow she may or may not be the Canary. All the usually suspects are said to be involved – Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim. Kreisberg just joined Berlanti as executive producer and writer on Supergirl so he’s already going to be busy. The report also talks about three major DC comic characters who have not appeared in the series yet. This project seems to exist outside of the normal pilot cycle and may go straight to series as a mid-season fill-in similar to Agent Carter for Agents of SHIELD. From they way the report reads it sounds like they may be working on a Brave and The Bold type series that would rotate heroes headlining with one established like Firestorm and pairing with one new comer like say Booster Gold. By doing this, its possible they could also be out of the current time and do an episode with Lotz as Canary teamed up with another character form the past. [Source: Deadline] |

I don't know what to make of this, except that it is very good news!
I wonder what role Caity Lotz could play in this? I am glad they recognize her talent and popularity.

This is an interesting concept here and I for one prefer if they make this a TELEVISION SPECIAL that's outside the respected show(s) and make Brave and The Bold type series - a more a two hour made for television movie that not a part of any of the shows at all.
I think they can pull off 2-3 of these movies on an annual basis and eventually I hope that they can pull off a made for TV - JLA Movie. You got Atom, Arrow, Flash, Firestorm, and others coming our way and they can do this in a year or two. I would love to see this in Action and in Fruition.

I would love to see an Ollie & Ronnie team-up. Since the actors are cousins, I can see the jokes that the writers could come up with since there is a resemblance between them.

They already have Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Arsenal, Firestorm, Atom, Vibe, Iris, Katelyn, Felicity, Diggle, Harbinger, Thea, Katanna, Sin, Wildcat, Joe...the Vixen cartoon coming out (does any one know when that hits?)...they've name dropped Fire, Elongated Man, Amazing Man and Blue Beetle 3...it really seems like a natural progression.

I wonder if Caity Lotz will be visiting the Lazarus Pit? or will she be cast as a new character?
Part of me would like to see her come back as the Canary, simply because she was so awesome in the role.
I am trying to figure out what other DC heroines she could be reasonably cast for. Having a hard time with that one. Nightshade maybe? Some version of the Fury?
