Thanks MRP, I was not all familiar with the all the comics you mentioned but I am a bit embarrassed to admit I actually own the Wednesday's Comics issues and completely forgot about them! Wednesday Comics was a mixed bag, but Gibbon and Sook's Kamandi was the best of it. (Paul Pope's Adam Strange was very good, too.) There was talk about them doing a Kamandi mini in that style, but nothing ever materialized. For that matter, there was talk about Wednesday Comics II, but nothing has come of that, either.

Of course, I decide to go trawling around on the internet for comics gossip, and I discover this on Kamandi over at The Beat: comicsbeat.com/is-dc-planning-on-making-a-kamandi-comic/ Tom Fowler, too. This could have been great with Fowler's art, but I am glad that there's some plans for the last boy on Earth.

Kamandi was in four episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Kamandi at Earth's End (1993 Elseworlds) Kamandi at Earth's End is so bad. Truly terrible. I got it a few years ago, ordered the whole mini-series for about $3 because I thought it was a latter-day effort to tie up some of the loose ends from the old Kamandi series. It is not.
It's just bad. I still have it. But it's the only comic book that I've ever had that I actually thought about burning.

I think Kamandi was in a few panels of Final Crisis.
(I hope Grant Morrison never gets the OK to do a Kamandi series.)

Ugh, I hated that they killed of Ch'p like that. He was my favorite alien Green Lantern. New 52: he may be out there somewhere now...

How can you have an "Elseworlds" about a character from a possible future? Kamandi was form an Elseworld to begin with, wasn't he?
And was this Kamandi, packing those asinine oversized, unbalanced guns, from Earth-Liefeld?

What's the status of Marvel Girl these days? I haven't read an X-book in four years. Is she in a current team?

More's the pity, I'd love Wednesday comics to be a regular ongoing.

She appeared in Nightcrawler #5 and Fraction's Uncanny.

Came across the Hangman in Spider-Woman. Premise seems kinda cool. Did he every make it out of the 70's?
