Is there anybody else interested in trying to attribute uncredited comics art? If so, come on in! This issue recently came up in my reading pile: The art is in a notably different style than the last preceding issue in my collection (Adam Hughes, several issues prior). There is no signature. While I can make some guesses, the style doesn't jump out at me as obviously belonging to any artist I can identify. Before someone jumps over to GCD, or Mike's Amazing World, I did check those sites, but I'm not satisfied with what they offer. GCD claims Kerry Gammill pencils, Bob Wiacek inks; MAW says the same, and it's likely Mike is simply dittoing the GCD attribution (he does so often, and acknowledges it). I'm skeptical of GCD listings for art not credited in the comic, all the more so when the names are simply presented without identification of the person making the attribution (which is the case here) or other support. I'm not familiar enough with Gammill's style to say the attribution is right or wrong, but the Wiacek attribution does seem obviously wrong to me (his line isn't usually so fine, nor his textures so dense). While I'm not confident enough to put forth an attribution, I will say that the inks, to me, suggest Dan Green (see Rogue's boots, and Rossi's left arm, in particular). And while it ought to go without saying, I'll mention that you will be able to see much more detail looking at the print comic than by looking at this scan. Does anyone have reliable information on this cover? Does anyone care to offer an opinion? And if anyone wants to continue the thread by offering another uncredited piece, by all means, please do so.

Gammill pencils AND inks, eh? Yeah, I could buy that more easily than Wiacek inks.
Still, I wonder how much research is behind the marvel.wikia listing....

It does look similar to some of his Fallen Angels covers.
