I think my own personal criteria for what a classic comic is has become pretty simple: a classic comic is a book published before the common usage of digital coloring took hold. I would never expect others to agree and, in time, my definition will have to change, but digitally colored books just feel completely different to me. Thats a pretty good standard. Theres also a bit of an interregnum in the few years were comics were still colored by hand but were separated digitally, which is how hand painted color guides exist for things like Kelley Jones' Batman when the actual issues feature computer generated colors.

Breach #1: at least it has Marcos Martin art I recall this series fondly. Intriguing premise. Among the greatest Spider-Man stories ever in my mind. I thought Oeming did a lot of good stuff with Thor, this included. I loved his take on Galactus. Easily among the greatest comic series ever. I think Alan Moore rights a lot of such comics and this is among his Tier 1 work. The original Runaways was great. Such a great concept and characters. Best addition to the Marvel Universe in a long time, in my mind. I loved this book as well. A rough era for Avengers generally, but this was golden.
