Who cares? The only real consideration, we were assured a few days ago, is Football is THE powerhouse in sports and also the highest watched tv show every year. Pass the beer & wings! How about them Vikings? |

The vast viewing audience would be beside itself with joy if the act occurred on TV. Ratings would go even higher.

Well my Red SOx are having a terrible season, but their AAA franchise, the Pawtucket Red Sox just came back to take game 5 of the Governor's Cup series and win the Triple A championship for the second time in three years, defeating the Durham Bulls. Hopefully some of the prospects like the taste of winning and bring it to the big leagues when they make the show.

Not much of a college football fan as I have posted here before, but my alma mater, the unranked Eagles of Boston College just hung up nearly 450 yards rushing on the #9 USC Trojans to score one of the biggest upsets in school history. Woot woot! Watching the 4th quarter of the game after I got home form work did however use up my yearly quotient of college football viewing  -M |

Not much of a college football fan as I have posted here before, but my alma mater, the unranked Eagles of Boston College just hung up nearly 450 yards rushing on the #9 USC Trojans to score one of the biggest upsets in school history. Woot woot! Watching the 4th quarter of the game after I got home form work did however use up my yearly quotient of college football viewing -M That's one quarter more than I'll watch, I'm sure. Still, always glad to see USC lose. Those guys have been overrated, including in the final polls, for almost the entirety of the last ... I don't know how many years. More than a decade, definitely. |
