ESPN Reported that Head Coach John Fox and the Denver Broncos departed ways and they are looking for a new head coach next season. John Fox is hinting retirement - more on this check ESPN for more information. I would love to see the Jets hire him. Who is Denver going to hire that is going to be a better coach then Fox? What was the ownerships and Elways thought process with that move? Peyton Manning just needs to retire at this point. His body appears to be breaking down, he doesn't do well in the playoffs. Last years team was his best shot at another title. I think John Fox is retiring for good. I will be shocked if he goes to the Jets. I have no idea what Denver is going to do next? ... I haven't had a clue what is going on here and I'm guessing that they are taking great caution in selecting the next coach after John Fox. I agree with you on Peyton Manning.

There is no one to hire that is a better coach then John Fox. Unless guys like Bill Cowher or Gruden are going to come out of retirement and I don't believe that's going to happen. The Broncos should rebuild. If Manning comes back they may make the playoffs, won't win and they'll have to rebuild anyway. Might as well start now.

They are a 10-6 team next year with Manning without a hope of a Super Bowl. As a Pats fan that works for me but I will objectively miss Manning.

What a relief. I was worried the Jets were going to hire Morrone as the head coach.

It also seems as though Jack Del Rio may be the Oakland Raiders' coach by the end of the day. ESPN Confirmed it today Wesley!

I don't think Peyton Manning is going anywhere soon. They will have to drag him away. He will play longer than Favre if he can, especially if he's still chasing Eli's two Super Bowl rings.

He never going to get another ring. His best days are behind him and so are his best teams. He just doesn't perform in the playoffs. I know he won once but he has been a disaster in the postseason. Honestly I'm tired of seeing him in endless commercials and hearing how great he is.

Manny Pacquiao agrees to fight Floyd Mayweather; but Mayweather hasn't made his decision yet. If Mayweather backed out it will be most disappointing decision in Boxing History. I want that fight and if that doesn't happen; it will be a very sad day for Boxing Fans around the world. I think that this fight will never happen in my lifetime.

I don't think I care any more about this. Pacquiao is not the fighter he used to be. If this had happened 6 years ago it would have been interesting, but now they are both past their prime. Mayweather has been ducking this fight for years, because he knew when they were both in their prime that Pacquiao would have owned him. If he accepts now, it will only be because he thinks Pacquiao has finally gotten too old to give him a good fight.

I understand what you're saying Scott and I wished this was done a whole lot sooner. Thanks for your input here.

(edi:) This was meant to be a reply to MechaGodzilla and Scott Harris and their talk about Pacquiao vs Mayeather.
This could still be an interesting fight if it happens within the mext 8 months or so, but probably not the classic showdown it could have been.
I'm a big Pacquiao fan, but I'm not sure he would have beaten Mayweather even in his prime. I do think he would have been the most competitive opponent Mayweather ever faced, though, and wouldn't rule out a victory.
I would have liked to see a younger Shane Mosely against Mayweather as well.
In other boxing news - well, not news anymore, but I just found this out a few days ago - one of my all-time favourite fighters, Roy Jones, has been helping out Montreal boxer Jean Pascal in his training for his last couple fights.
