Amazingly enough, I'll actually be in that area tomorrow, but I am not up for that kind of madness.

In the past I’ve spent time in the Pittsburgh area and had found New Dimension to be a fairly generous operation. They always have some kind of special going and often sold silver age comics in low good condition or worse for only a couple of bucks a pop, no matter what the guides say. As one of many examples, It’s how I filled out my Neal Adams Brave & Bolds. For this special they almost certainly brought together inventory from all their locations plus whatever is in their warehouse. I wish I could be there to see it.

Word of caution on this: These are probably going to be mostly unsorted comics if prior experience holds true, and I've been shopping New Dimension for years and have done lots of these types of sales (and spent ungodly amounts of money with them to build a huge portion of my collection). While they sometimes have this kind of stuff sorted, for something of this magnitude, you could literally spend all day searching for a needle that looks like hay, a hay-like needle of death in a haystack of...nevermind, just had some Doctor Who on my mind.
If you are ever going to make the trip to PA, come for the basement warehouse sale (one in January, one in September). You will still have access to a lot of the unsorted comics on the first floor of the Ellwood City store (although I am assuming Todd is trucking in a bunch of boxes from his satellite warehouses for this sale), but the 500K comics in the basement are sorted alphabetically by title and in numeric order. Makes finding the oddball issues for your collection a lot more likely.
However, one place you might want to check out this weekend, if you are going to be in PA, is the Eide's Entertainment Anniversary sale. 40% off all back issues priced $40 or less, 20% off all back issues priced greater than $40. I hit it Thursday afternoon after work, and I will be going again on Saturday morning after I figure out exactly what my budget will be for the second trip. Will post all of the goodness I acquire once I'm finished with the second trip.

Sorry to hear that, shax. I'm planning on doing Akron later this year when they have their convention in November, so maybe I'll finally get to meet a fellow poster or two then.
Travel safe this weekend, my friend.
