George Perez is one of my favorite artists. I remember really being impressed by the work he did on this page from Infinity Gauntlet.

Jim Aparo does a great job with the Batman, joker and Wildcat. Brave and The Bold # 118

I love Jim Aparo's work. He's probably my favorite Batman artist.

I would have loved to see his version of Spider-man.

Justice League of America #110 by Len Wein and Dick Dillin Sinestro needs to ditch that yellow ring and get himself a bar of soap.

Those last Aparo pages made me realize that, despite loving the character, I don't think I've ever read a story involving Wildcat outside of JSA or New Frontier.

Those last Aparo pages made me realize that, despite loving the character, I don't think I've ever read a story involving Wildcat outside of JSA or New Frontier. Wildcat was in Brave and the Bold reasonably frequently. I'm pretty sure the first time I ever heard of Wildcat was in Brave and the Bold #126? #127? Somewhere around there. (As a kid, I would buy Brave and the Bold when I wasn't buying very many DC comics.)
I've never read #118, though. It looks awesome!

Justice League of America #110 by Len Wein and Dick Dillin Sinestro needs to ditch that yellow ring and get himself a bar of soap. Man, I loved that a bar of soap laid Hal Jordan Low. It was one of the silliest reasons for taking a person out of a story.

Ambush Bug running amok in DC Comics Presents #59 by Paul Levitz, Keith Giffen and Kurt Schaffenberger. This is my pick as the single funniest superhero comic I've ever read.

John Buscema inked by Dave Cockrum in Avengers # 125. I really like the result.

George Perez is one of my favorite artists. I remember really being impressed by the work he did on this page from Infinity Gauntlet. Perez had some brilliant moments in Infinity Gauntlet. Unfortunately, he didn't get to finish out the series as it was planned. I hope one day we at least get a Doctor Strange mini from him.

But I think that's the only Mini series that lost their artist half way through but didn't suffer. Ron Lim did a great job. Shame on Perez for leaving to do the putrid War Of Gods mini.

I think Lim being so adept on the Silver Surfer, and a perfect fit for cosmic in general, made it work. Not to mention that Starlin had an actual story to tell with this mini-series; this seems to be a lost art at Marvel when it comes to events.

Totally agree, Rob. IG was maybe the best MINI that delivered at the end.

This quickly became one of my all-time favorite Dr. Strange moments; the sky-light juxtaposed with Strange's cloak, a simple scene of Strange levitating while drinking tea, and so on. I always related to Strange's relative life of isolation, so he's always been one of my favorite Marvel characters.
