Thanks, hondorobe! Happy Easter to everyone!
The Raider family is visiting the grandparents, and since my mother and my wife's parents all live in the same city it requires only one trip. Because it's Easter, my sons and I went walking on the sea yesterday (a process made so much easier when it is frozen); it was pretty cool (if a bit spooky) to jump from one ice floe to the other, with some of them breaking from time to time.
But man, how I look forward to above zero temperatures... this winter just seems never to end.

Spending Easter alone unpacking and assembling racks for my comic books. I've spent an hour agonizing over how many shelves I want. I could put 5 shelves, which will allow for 5 more boxes to be stored, or 4 shelves, which will make it much easier to access the boxes.
But I would like to reflect on the words of Reverend Lovejoy.

Happy Easter to our Christian friends, and a belated happy Passover to our Jewish ones.

You're right, winter is practically half you're year. Despite being of Viking heritage, I couldn't do it. I'm the only one out of my family that prefers hot to cold. It's like they pride themselves on overcoming the cold. It freezes me to the marrow. I'd much rather be in Miami, Houston or Costa Rica, than in winter climates freezing. and don't get me started on shoveling snow, warming up the car, scrapping the windows, hopefully not slipping, etc
