Orion teleports them all back in the time barrier, to try and follow "Everyman".



Hawkgirl: "It's all so colorful."


Orion: "It is the remnants of time."

Hawkgirl loses her wings, and begins to fall, screaming: "Aiiihhhhh!!!"

She's fallen through the bottom of the time barrier.



Hawk Warrior: "Go back d_mmit!"

Hawk Warrior turns his head to look behind him, but see's nothing.

Hawk Warrior: "Shayera!!!"



Argos: "What happened to her?!"

Orion quickly turns to the right, through the time barrier wall, and the rest of them follow, Hawk Warrior is forced to follow by Black Adam.



Black Adam: "Toughen up!"

Hawk Warrior: "Don't you even talk to me, you b_stard!"

They land in medevil times, in front of King Arthurs Castle.

Hawk Warrior: "What did you do to her?!"

Orion: "I did nothing. What happened to her was a cause of this "Everyman". When he killed Khufu, it obviously altered reality, where Shayera Hol no longer was "Hawkgirl". So without her flight, she fell through the time barrier."

Hawk Warrior: "So where is she?! Where's Hawkgirl?!"

Orion: "I do not know."



Isis walks up to him: "I'm so sorry."

Hawk Warrior, full of anger, walks past all of them.

Hawk Warrior says in a very angered tone: "What now?"

Black Adam: "Where are we?"

Orion: "12th century Britain, near King Arthur’s Castle."

Argos: "Isn't that the same castle, where Shining Knight was a knight of King Arthur’s?"

Orion: "Yes."

With Argos looking in amazement.

Argos: "How do we get in?"

Orion presses the button on his chair, and teleports them inside.



They are at the round table, no one is there, they here voices. Out of no where, Shining Knight hits Orion's chair with his sword, damaging the pause mechanism. Orion tries to press it, but finds that is broken.

Argos: "Freeze time!"

Orion: "I can not, he has damaged the mechanism!"

Black Adam: "Great!"

They begin dodging his swings.

Isis: "Adam, shall you improvise?"

Black Adam: "It would be my pleasure."

Black Adam, flies up to him, fists ready, and punches him directly at the bottom of the chin with an uppercut. He falls to ground immediately, with his sword going with him.

Hawk Warrior: "Is that "Everyman"?!"



He looks at a man walking through the wall near them, with a nonchalant attitude. He has red, menacing eyes, his body is translucent colored, reflecting the light from the candles surrounding them. Black Adam flies up to him, ready to deliver another blow. He throws a punch at him, and it goes right through him, hitting a stone doorway, it crumbles to pieces.

Everyman: "No, no, no."

He picks up Shining Knight’s magical swords, and disappears.

Hawk Warrior: "Where did he go?!"

Orion: "He teleported using Shining Knights sword. He got them from a mystical artifact from Egypt."

Argos: "You know this all for certain, don't you?"

Orion: "Yes."

Orion: "We must go."

Orion teleports them back to the time barrier.

At Vandal Savages quarters in 1776, Britain.



Vandal Savage: "Who's there?"

Vandal Savage looks around his castle, in England, where he about to go to sleep.

Vandal Savage: "I fear no one!"

Everyman comes out of the shadows of his room.

Everyman: "But you do fear the unknown?"

Vandal Savage: "There is nothing unknown to me!"

Everyman: "What? Because you've been living a meaningless life since the beginning of time?"

Vandal Savage: "How did y--?"

Everyman interrupts, and walks up closer, looking very intimidating: "I know a lot of things..."
