Inside the Hall of Justice’s interrogation room,
The room is dark and nothing can be seen. So, thinks Rock who sits, chained in a high-tech interrogation chair. He’s blindfolded.
The lights burst on, bright as can be. “Who put this on you?” asks a voice. Rock doesn’t respond. “Who put that on you?” the voice continues.
“Put what?” Rock replies. Suddenly the blindfold is pulled off by Power Guy, who is holding a folder of papers.
Power Guy waves the blindfold at him. “It was Crimson Squire.... I think.” Rock replies.
BAM! Rock’s head is suddenly smashed into the table in front of him and Power Guy by a force behind him. Power Guy sits down. “Getting erotic with my ex?” asks the voice behind him.
Rock looks back. It’s Dark Arrow, who’s angry as can be.
“I was in the lounge with her and a few other people. Stands up and walks away. Next thing I know I’m blindfolded and then knocked out.” Rock says as Dark Arrow walks around him and sits next to Power Guy.
“You shouldn’t jump to conclusion so fast.” says Power Guy. “It’s not constitutional.”
Rock laughs. “It’s not constitutional to blindfold and knock someone out.” he says. Dark Arrow smiles at him. “It’s not constitutional to go around shooting people, hombre. You know nothing of the constitution. Just like your family.” Dark Arrow says.
Rock tries to leap at him, now angry. The chair restrains him. Dark Arrow laughs, “Christ, I wish I had a camera on me right now. You’re hysterical.”
“Without my family, you wouldn’t even be here.” says Rock, trying to calm himself down.
“Would you two relax?” asks Power Guy, calming the room as he tries to ease away the tension. The room becomes dead silent. Everyone exchanges a look. A beat passes through the room.
“Why am I in this chair?” asks Rock. “That’s obvious. For interrogation.” says Dark Arrow in response.
“I don’t believe you should be here.” says Power Guy. “You have never been a Titan and you have your track record of crimes. Hell, we have no clue who you are”
“I was an Outsider.” remarks Rock. “A bad one.” Dark Arrow says in response. “I don’t want to remove you, Dark Arrow. Stay relevant and helpful.” Power Guys cuts in, quieting the room.
Power Guy leans forward, leaning against the table. “Look, Rock. I need you to tell us your whole story. In detail.” he continues.
Rock nods. “ C’ I get something to drink?” he asks.
“Sure.” Power Guy responds. He turns to Dark Arrow. “Wanna’ get him some coffee?” Power Guy asks.
Before he could respond, Power Guy leans towards him, causing Dark Arrow to walk out to get coffee before he could respond. Power Guy turns back to Rock.
“Do you want to tell us about your early years?” he asks.
Suddenly, Rock was in a flashback, telling his life story.

Somewhere in Pakistan during the War on Terror,
Gunfire passes around. The second Sgt. Rock panics, firing off gunshots as he runs to the UN HQ.
Faintly he hears a yell. He’s worried. A medic looks back to him and signals for him to come over.
G.I. Robot looks around with his rifle, covering a woman.
Rock leaps forward into the circle of medics, G.I. Robot, and a woman. The woman is Rock’s wife, Marisa Rock. She’s giving birth.
Rock leans forward to her and says in a joking tone “You got balls for fighting while pregnant.” Despite her pain, she manages to laugh.
The sound of bullets bouncing of strong metal is coming closer to the circle. The sounds of an fighter plane and a combat mech are coming closer.
“Yeeeeeeee ha!” the pilot of the fighter plane. It comes closer, revealing it’s the original Blackhawk.
The mech is one of the New Communist Party. The leader is inside, Joseph Kozlov.
“Rock, sorry to break up the birth, but I need some help!” Blackhawk shouts into the radio over the gunfire.
“Alright.” replies Sgt. Rock, who signals to G.I. Robot. G.I. Robot charges at the Communist leader’s mech, rifle blazing.
The bullets deflect off the massive mech, some just missing G.I. Robot.
Sgt. Rock looks back, worried. He takes out a cigarette. A medic slaps it out his hand. “Don’t light that crap at birth.” the medic scolds at him. Sgt. Rock nods on.
G.I. Robot is running low on ammo as he blasts away at the Communist leader, proving the rifle useless. The mech’s fingers begin to spin, slowly picking up speed. The leader begins to lift both arms. G.I. Robot leaps at the mech and begins hitting the robot, shaking it a bit.
“DOWN WITH DEMOCRACY!” shouts Kozlov as the fingers begin to spin faster and fire bullets out the fingers, which are now a gatling gun.
The bullets smash into G.I. Robot until the Robot of war is nothing but broken parts. Blackhawk circles around the glass-like section, cutting into the glass a little. He zooms into the air and then twirls past the mech. Blackhawk begins to gain speed, but is stopped. The mech smashes him down into the ground.
Marisa is screaming louder. “d**n!” yells Sgt. Rock.
Blackhawk reaches for his holster, stuck in the broken plane. He struggles and he can’t. Kozlov walks to the plane. He lifts the massive left leg in the air. The leg slowly lowers until the hero known as Blackbird was no more.
Marisa has finally given birth a few seconds ago. She holds her new baby boy, crying. “What should we name him?” asks the Sgt. Rock.
Marisa turns to him, weak. “Rock.” she says, slowly.
Sgt. Rock grabs the baby. Suddenly, a bullet smashes into Marisa, causing Rock to tear and run with the rest of the circle. Medics shoot at Kozlov, who killed Marisa. Rock manages to find cover. He takes out his pistol and puts it in baby Rock’s tiny hands.
Sgt. Rock blasts away all his ammo along with the medics, to only make a small hole in the glass. Rock leaps to his new baby. He holds the gun straight, putting the baby’s finger on the trigger. He turns to the baby and says “I love you.”
Another shot is fired by Kozlov. This one hit’s Rock in the neck. He falls back, causing baby Rock to shoot Kozlov through the glass, killing him. That causes the mech to fall.

The Hall of Justice interrogation room (Present),
Rock is saddened. Dark Arrow is trying not to laugh. The room is dead silent. The coffee on the table is getting cold.
“That was bull**it.” says Dark Arrow.
Power Guy pops his head up from inside the folder. “It’s the truth.” he says to Dark Arrow. He turns to Rock and says “Sorry.”
“It’s fine.” says Rock. “Though, I do have a question.” he continues.
“What’s that?” asks Power Guy.
“Why the hell did you get my coffee if I’m strapped to this chair and not able to drink or lift the cup?” replies Rock.
Power Guy chuckles. “It’s done to test the intelligence of the person in the chair.”
A beat passes through the room. “Do you want to continue now?” asks Power Guy.
And once again, Rock was away in a flashback.

Over the North Korean satellite Dynasty,
The now teenage Rock glares down at the massive missile satellite Dynasty, reflecting on his years since birth. All of his life he’d been in war. Adopted by a warrior and raised by warriors.
“Vega?” he calls out over the radio.
Sue Vega looks up from the explosive rig he was setting up.
“Yeah?” he asks back over the radio.
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this. Blowing up a missile satellite sounds crazy.” says Rock.
“The rig can only deflect signals to the missile.” says Vega.
“It’s a suicide mission.” says Walter Smith, the man waiting to plant the bomb. “The budget cut left us with only this uniform for me to wear. I’ll die of lack of oxygen first.”
“Shut up ya’ d**n pessimist.” Rock replies.
“You would have killed yourself before we got in the spaceship.” Smith snaps back. “You have a space rifle and a proper space combat suit. Vega has a technicians suit. I have a man-overboard suit.”
“You keep whining and I’ll be sure to blow you up.” jokes Vega, causing Smith to smirk.
“If Smith screws up, I’m not going in there to remove it.” says Rock. “That’s Renner’s job.”
“Renner’s busy.” says Vega. “You’re the only person to do it.”
“We got the second rate crew.” says Smith. “I was almost going to do your job.” says Vega. “Why didn’t you?” asks Smith.
“The General knew you were bored.” laughs Rock.
“The General, my friend is... let’s call him.... an not a very nice person.” jokes Smith, causing everyone to laugh.
The laugh dies down along with Rock’s spirit. A loud beep blares out through the dark space.
“What the f......” blurts out Rock.
“What?” asks Vega, turning his head, along with Smith.
The giant, multi-colored ship Ranger floats towards them. Smith bursts out laughing.
“That’s the....” says Vega. “Henshin squad.” Rock finishes for him.
The Ranger stops. Rock grips his space rifle tighter. The ship opens up. The Henshin squad’s pods that make up the Ranger come forward to the US soldiers and stops.
“The spandex is probably why the stopped.” says Smith.
The pod’s cockpits open. The Henshin squad steps out, looking straight at the small crew.
“The second they draw, I’m shooting. Got it?” says Rock, who gets the same response from both other soldiers- no.
The Henshin squad lift their arms in the air. The words come out. They all yell “HENSHIN!”.
Suddenly, their space rifles are in hand. Rock is eager to pull the trigger. “Don’t do it, Rock.” says Vega.
The space rifles build together into one massive rifle, which they aim at the Dynasty. The finger moves down on the trigger and....
“Darkness.” Present Rock says.

The Hall of Justice interrogation room (Present),
