In the midst of Vanishing Point…
A strange woman wearing a pink cloak and hood gazes upon the time stream and details, “Because the history of heroes was shattered into three long ago, splintered to weaken the world for their impending arrival…you must all stand together. The timelines must become one again.”

The next day aboard the Titans of Justice Satellite, Vanishing Point…
“It was just plain crazy!” Sargona began talking to the assembled group of Power Guy, Green Lantern, Corporal Marvel II(formerly Stellar), Starman, Nucleus, Knightvision, Quake, Kid Comet, the Arachnid, Phantom Lady, Argos, and Sonic Boom. “The Secret Society had taken over Earth One or New Earth….whatever you want to call it. The Titans were forced into hiding and constantly on the run. Captain Cold’s kid was part of our team. Green Lantern and Sonic Boom were brother and sister…..adopted, though. And Power Guy was working for the Society!”
“No way!” shouted Starman in disbelief.
“I’m so not kidding,” confirmed the daughter of Sargon The Sorcerer and Zatanna. “I tried telling everyone there that things weren’t right but everyone just looked at me like I was crazy…..except for Knightvision. He was the only one who believed me.”
“Well, the important thing is that things seem to be back to normal again,” pointed out Power Guy, trying to get the team to look in a positive direction.
“Thanks to that strange woman with the pink hood but I still think things are a bit off but they’re definitely a lot better than they were,” replied Sargona with a sigh of relief.
“Moving on,” Power Guy said, formally addressing the team, “I’m glad you could all make it today. I know we all have our own earths to watch over. Sargona, Green Lantern, Argos, Sonic Boom, Knightvision, Kid Comet, and Quake’s League of Titans are responsible for nU Earth. Starman, Dreamsweeper, and I serve with the Society of Titans of Earth Two. Corporal Marvel and his Squadron of Titans keep watch over Earth S. The Arachnid reports to Lt. Atom and the Titans of the L.A.W. from Earth Four while Phantom Lady and the Titans of Freedom keep up their seemingly never-ending battle against the Axis forces of Earth X. When threats arise that one of our teams is too busy or unable to handle alone, that’s when the Titans of Justice come together and handle the situation at hand.”
“I don’t know why our predecessors didn’t think of the idea of a multiverse protecting super-team years ago,” commented Green Lantern. “Just think of all the misery they could have saved themselves when they were short-handed or up against an adversary that they couldn’t handle alone.”
“I just think it’s great that we get to interact with each other. It helps fuel diversity,” noted Quake.
“I hate to interrupt but we’ve got our next crisis calling our names,” said Nucleus, staring at the monitor screen in front of him.
“Please don’t say it’s Fausta,” pleaded Green Lantern.
“It’s Fausta,” repeated Nucleus, “I’m kidding. Actually, we’re getting a distress call from the planet Rann. I think it’s coming from Aleea Strange but it’s hard to be certain as there’s no visual or audio, just text. It says that their planet is being attacked by some alien threat and the planet will fall soon if they don’t get help.”
“Contact Hawkgirl and tell her to get here asap,” Power Guy said, initiating a strategy. “She knows Rann the best out of any of us with Starman here coming in a close second. I'll take a group of Titans to Rann and handle the situation.”
Just then, Black Vulcan teleported in, “Hey everyone,” she greeted with a smile on her face but then she noticed everyone was looking so serious. “Uh oh….something’s going on. What’s up?”
“There’s trouble on Rann,” answered Power Guy. “Aren’t you scheduled to start monitor duty in a few minutes?”
“Yes,” acknowledged the daughter of Black Lightning.
Power Guy quickly turned his head and looked at Sargona, “Can you cover her shift? I need her in space with us.”
“You owe me one,” replied the raven-haired beauty. “I was supposed to get my nails done this afternoon.”
“I’ll pay for it next time you do,” promised the man of might. Before he could say anything more, Hawkgirl arrived on the scene.
“Nucleus briefed me on the situation. I can have my starship ready to go in five minutes,” advised the Thanagarian.
“Save your rocket fuel. My ring can get us there just as fast,” smiled Green Lantern as he created an emerald replica of the Hawk-rocket in the hanger below. “The ship's waiting….” he smiled.
“Let’s go…” urged Starman. While he was currently involved with second Supergirl, he still had a fondness for his one-time fling, Aleea Strange and feared for her safety.

Later on Rann…
Green Lantern’s spaceship came in for a smooth landing as the Titans of Justice exited without hesitation.
“The planet has been ransacked!” exclaimed Hawkgirl in disbelief. “It looks dry, withered, and near lifeless. Where is everyone?”
“Did anyone else notice those enormous black machines scattered about the planet as we came in?” asked Green Lantern. “I don’t remember seeing those the last time we were here.”
“They certainly aren’t Rannian technology,” confirmed Hawkgirl.
“They must be what’s behind all of this,” noted Starman. “I say we bust them up!”
“You won’t be doing any such thing!” came a commanding voice.
The team looked up to see a dark figure floating above them. He had pink skin, jet black hair, fangs, and wore a dark blue costume.
Green Lantern’s ring broke the short silence, “Threat level – Omega!”
Green Lantern’s eyes grew wide with alarm at what his ring had said. He knew that meant that this man was as dangerous as they come and may be more than the Titans of Justice could handle.
“Who are you and what have you done to Rann?” demanded Power Guy, pointing at the floating man.
“Looks like Count Dracula to me,” stated Black Vulcan with her hands on her hips. “GeeEl, create a wooden stake with your ring and let’s get this over with ASAP.”
“Ha! It will take much more than a wooden stake to stop me. I am a COSMIC vampire!”
“Wait a minute,” blurted out Hawkgirl, “I know you from Thanagarian legend. You’re Starbreaker, one of the mature Sun-Eaters.”
“Yes, it is I,” smiled the cosmic vampire. “I trust your legends explained how powerful I am and that you have no hope of stopping me in sucking this planet dry.”
“Power Guy, you’d better call in…” began Hawkgirl but before she could finish her sentence, Power Guy hit Starbreaker with the force of a small nuclear missile while Green Lantern threw up a force barrier to shield himself and his teammates from the shockwave.
“So I’m guessing a wooden stake won’t do much good against this guy?” Black Vulcan asked Hawkgirl.
“Nope!”
“Holy water? Garlic? Solar energy?”
“No, no, and definitely not!”
Power Guy and Starbreaker continued clashing above, each growing more and more determined to take the other down as the seconds passed. Power Guy's iron-like fist cracked Starbreaker's jaw in a fraction of a second.
“I don’t have time for this,” remarked Starbreaker angrily as he blasted Power Guy with a stream of energy which shot through the Kryptonian’s body, causing him immense pain.
“ARRRGHHHHH!!!” He quickly retaliated with a searing blast of his heat-vision, “BURN!!!”
Instead of harming Starbreaker, the blast of heat-vision seemed to sooth him as he smiled with sick delight and then Power Guy noticed, “I can’t shut my heat-vision off! He’s draining the solar energy out of my body!”
Starbreaker flew into Power Guy and grabbed his neck and pulled him close, sinking his fangs into the Kryptonian but instead of drawing blood, it was the rest of Power Guy’s stored solar energy that he syphoned from his body. Within minutes, Power Guy’s strength was depleted to that of a normal human’s. Starbreaker dropped him from his grasp only to see Green Lantern catch his seemingly defeated leader.
“I don’t know what you did to Power Guy but you’re not stealing any more life-forces today,” declared Starman as he punched Starbreaker in the nose, his Cosmic Rod gleaming brightly. “OUCH!!! That was like punching PeeGee!”
The cosmic vampire stared Starman down and then noticed, “Your staff brims with energy. I must have it!” he said grabbing the solar-powered weapon.
Starman refused to let go and tried pulling the rod free from Starbreaker’s grasp.
“Release your weapon! It is mine now!” ordered Starbreaker as he backhanded the son of Jack Knight, sending him crashing into the ground.
“So you like solar energy, huh? Let’s see how you do with lightning!” Black Vulcan said as she flew up to Starbreaker, her fists crackling with electricity. She promptly electrocuted her foe, believing it would do some good.
“Black Vulcan, no!” cried out Hawkgirl as she and Green Lantern flew up to assist the caramel-skinned heroine. “He can absorb more than just solar energy!”
Unfortunately, it was too late, Starbreaker was already sucking Black Vulcan dry of her electrical energy without pause.
“Let her go!” growled Green Lantern as an emerald fist wrapped around Starbreaker, forcing him to release Black Vulcan and temporarily immobilizing him.
Hawkgirl caught Black Vulcan as she fell towards the ground, completely drained of her electrical powers.
“Fool!” called out Starbreaker, “You just saved me some trouble.”
“What are you talking about?” demanded the son of Hal and Carol Jordan as his green fist squeezed tighter around Starbreaker until he realized. “You’re draining my ring’s energy through my construct!”
“Right you are, boy!” as he took down each Titan, Starbreaker grew slightly bigger from the energy he had absorbed and once Daniel Jordan’s ring was drained, he grew even larger.
“Drain this!” shouted Hawkgirl as she whacked Starbreaker in the groin with her Nth Metal mace.
“Fool, all that did was tickle! You are no threat to me!” he said, blasting the Thanagarian warrior out of the sky.
Starman called out to his opponent from the ground(being unable to fly now that his Cosmic Rod had been drained), “Come down here and fight you maggot!”
“Sorry but I need to drain the rest of this planet of it’s Zeta-beam energy in preparation for my assault on the planet Oa where I will drain the Central Power Battery dry but before I go, dispose of this for me, would you?” he said as a mechanical stretcher flew over from one of his machines carrying a lifeless body. Starbreaker hurled the corpse at Starman and then took off.
Starman’s face turned white as a ghost as he caught the un-breathing body of his former love, Aleea Strange.

The Titans of Justice satellite…
Kid Comet exited the teleport tube and called out to the person who summoned him, “Knightvision, what’s the emergency?”
“I’m sorry to disturb you on your holiday but we’ve got a critical situation in our hands,” began the son of Nightwing and Batgirl. “Yesterday, Power Guy and four other Titans responded to a distress call from the planet Rann and haven’t been in contact since. Something has obviously gone very wrong. I contacted you since you are one of the only Titans left that’s familiar with space travel as Argos is fending off an attack from Kaliback on New Genesis.”
“No worries. I understand completely,” assured the mutant telepath. “I’ll leave for Rann immediately.”
“Wait, myself and a few others will be joining you,” revealed the protector of Gotham City as Quake, Sargona, Corporal Marvel, and Buffalo Brave approached the two conversing heroes.
“But how are we going to get there? I can breathe in space but the rest of you can’t,” worried Kid Comet.
“We’ll take Hawkgirl’s rocket,” explained Knightvision. “Let’s get moving. Lives are on the line!”
