I've been watching this on Netflix and was curious to see if anyone else is a fan? I got sporadic episodes when it was first out, and really enjoyed it, but got sidetracked and never finished the series. I'm currently on episode 10 of the second and final season, with 16 more episodes to go.
I think it was very clever how they basically took a stroll down Avengers memory lane, updating along the way, while throwing in more modern story points here and there. I think the series comes very close to being on the same level as Justice League and I think it's by far the best Marvel animated series I've ever watched.

I really enjoyed it as well and it is also my all time favorite Marvel animated series. I agree that they did a great job of merging the Avengers comic history with their stories. I still like the new Avengers series, but just not as much. The more juvenile Super Hero Squad is also a favorite.

It's too bad that companies are so obsessed with crossmedia synergy nowadays. I think it was great that we had an Avengers series that first and foremost appealed to comic fans old and new.

I enjoyed it too ... and I usually gets the DVD's from Target and they are unusually cheap around $5.00 after sitting around for 4-6 months on shelves and I have about 3-5 of them so far. To me, it's quite impressive of an animated series and I like the story lines and the show appeals a wide variety of fans that mentioned by Trebor.

I just finished the Secret Invasion episodes. They actually made a Bendis' ideas appealing to me! The introduction of Spider-Man, and his team-up with Cap was FANTASTIC. I wish this series could have continued on for years and years. Just about perfect adaptation of the classic Marvel Universe. I only have about 13 episodes to go and I'm a bit bummed. Ah, well. Wolverine and the X-Men was done by the same people so I have that in my Netflix queue to watch next.
On a side note, it seems to me that they're using a lot of the same voice actors that appeared in Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I've noted the presence of several other prominent video game voice actors as well.

Hey guys, did you all know that this show was originally set to be a HULK cartoon??? Marvel originally announced a new Hulk cartoon titled "Hulk: Gamma Corps" to be in the works back in 2008, but a few months later an Avengers cartoon was announced to coincide with the release of The Avengers' 2012 movie and by that time this Hulk show was already far into production, but they decided that the ideas they had for this Hulk cartoon would be a better fit for an Avengers show so they decided to fold both shows together and combine them, and the result in the end was Avengers" EMH. To find out more if you're interested you can check this video to find out, and to also find out about more unmade Hulk tv shows (like a Guillermo del Toro Hulk Project):

It's a shame they cancelled this and replaced it with Avengers Assemble. Disney XD cartoons have been mostly downhill since.

As long as you stick to the Kyle/Yost written episodes and avoid everything written by Man Of Action this series holds up as well as anything Marvel animation have ever done. Also unlike the broadly comparable Spectacular Spider-Man it actually has an ending of sorts and not a cancellation-induced cliffhanger.
