Those issues are probably hard to find at a cheap price... You never know.Theres no such thing as guide prices for old fanzines and many dealers are not interested in buying or selling them. The 2nd issue of the fanzine dealt with Marvel comics and a long article on Kang. It was those 2 fanzines that helped get Gruenwald a job at Marvel

He theorized that the Jack Schiff science fiction Batman was also an inbetweener of the golden and silver age I've always disagree with Gruenwald on this point. Much too much of what appears in the Schiff years is referenced later in undeniably Earth-One stories. While I loved Omniverse at the time, in hindsight I see it as the herald of all the joyless, torturous-"scientific"-explanation-for-silly-fantasy-superpowers, make-all-the-pieces-fit-no-matter-what mentality that sucked all the spontaneity and inventiveness out of the Marvel and DC Universes. Cei-U! I summon the buzzkill!

Cei-U! I summon the buzzkill! What I liked about his Batman theory was it took all that crappy, juvenile Batman stuff and threw it into its own corner with a dunce cap on top instead of incorporating it into the silver-age version. I can't reconcile the Neal Adams Batman putting a mask on Ace the Bat Hound while talking to Bat-Mite and wondering if he should wear his zebra Batman costume that night or be Rainbow Batman instead

I would love to see "Prisoners of Three Worlds" illustrated by Neal Adams.
Almost as much as I would love to see "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge" illustrated by pre-New Look Sheldon Moldoff.

If there is such a book (and there could well be), I haven't read it. Leaving aside the whole "why doesn't Robin age" conundrum, there's no internal reason for a transitional continuity for Batman. There are almost certainly Earth-1.5 versions of Wonder Woman and Green Arrow, however. Cei-U! I summon the Excedrin! Stop slacking and get writing then! In all seriousness, if we go forward with Shax's blog idea, this would certainly be a great topic for one!

I always figured the Kents were like my grandparents. They lived in a small town and ran a business there, but still owned a farm where someone younger did the actual farming.

I would pay for a book written by Cei-U about the history of comics!

I would pay for a book written by Cei-U about the history of comics! Ditto, but it would have to have some kind of focus. If he did a comprehensive history, it would probably end up being volumes! (Though, unlike Steranko, he'd probably get past two.)

I sense an opportunity for a nervous breakdown! Cei-U! I summon the straightjacket!*Ahem* That's straitjacket, my good man. (Not playing the pedant here, btw -- the mistake is an extremely common one, & you're not a mistake-making kinda guy, so I figure you'd want to know.)

Do you get your Money for Nothing and your Chicks for Free?
(also, I would totally kick start a Cei-U history of comics project)
