Paul Haynes Comics - Produced in 1990 I'm submitting this comic book cover instead ... I remember this cover and I'm using this one for the contest below. I felt that the above one doesn't make any sense to members here. I had to change to this one below. Sorry.

I felt that the above one doesn't make any sense to members here. I don't know why, but I get the feeling we've just been insulted. Not really. Was just paraphrasing a line from MTU #70. It's fine to change your entry MG, but be assured your first pick was entirely appropriate and vote-worthy, way more than my anemic entry.

This was the toughest one for me so far, even harder than "bowling."
but. . how is filming a close up of the cop's neck going to provide evidence???

How did they install a one-way window in the counterfeiter's hide-out without them noticing? Presumably it's a motel room, but your comment made me lol for real.

I never had enough money for all the superhero comics I wanted, but my brother would buy the Harveys. These were fun comics.

Yes, there's just a big obvious mirror embedded in the wall that they didn't put there. Nothing suspicious there, no! EDIT: Darnit! I think this is my week for posting things people already posted.

I never had enough money for all the superhero comics I wanted, but my brother would buy the Harveys. These were fun comics. Harvey comics are SO STUPID!
I used to have piles and piles of them!
Little Dot still kinda trips me out! She's obsessed by dots! And that's pretty much the whole joke. I think I bought it for years because I couldn't believe that it even existed.
And Stumbo the giant. That was pretty weird. Little Lotta! Remember Hot Stuff, the evil baby devil who wore diapers and did mean things to people on the mortal plane?
Man. No wonder I didn't bat an eye when I first started reading super-hero comics when I was 11.

I always found them more "wonderfully weird" than "stupid".

I always found them more "wonderfully weird" than "stupid". Well, I meant "stupid" in the good way.
Stupid in the way that Silver Age Lois Lane stories are stupid.

I never had enough money for all the superhero comics I wanted, but my brother would buy the Harveys. These were fun comics. I loved the Harvey comics. I read mostly the Casper books--Casper, Wendy, Spooky--but also some Richie Rich, Little Dot, and others. And I'm so glad you posted a Giant-Size issue, the Giant issues were my absolute favorite Harveys. So many stories for a mere 25 cents! Also, I got such a kick out of the Giant covers with their "channels" (as I called the side boxes back then--like TV channels) featuring various characters. To me this indicated the existence of a shared Harvey Universe, and I was intrigued by the connections between the characters (even though in retrospect I see the Casper family of characters didn't interact with, say, the Richie Rich cast).

(Oh, dear! Maybe I shouldn't mention this.) ... The reason you don't ever see Casper and Richie Rich is ... Casper is the ghost of Richie Rich!
