What's the current status of the New Gods, as a group and individually, if anyone knows?
I glanced at the Earth 2 series now and then but not enough to be able to follow what was going on there - for example, it seemed that Barda was fighting on the side of Apokolips? Orion's wife, Bekka, was a major player on the side of New Genesis? Did the whole thing take place in the future, or in an alternate universe or something?
I understand that there's an upcoming "Darkseid War" story that's supposed to take place in the Justice League book, so I'm trying to get a handle on what's been happening with the characters leading up to it.

Neal Adams is supposed to be working on a mini about the New Gods.

DC's getting ready to put a big push on the New Gods, and they're truly going to be above superhero level if I understand correctly.

In Earth 2, Barda started out as a hero but then once Darkseid appeared to be winning the war with Earth 2, she defected and resubmitted to him as one of his Female Furies. Earth 2 is a separate world from Earth 0 where much of the rest of the New 52 comics take place on but other than that, everything is current and cannon(for now). |

Thanks for the responses, everyone, though I should have known I'd be sorry to find out once again how low DC can sink when it comes to these characters.
