I literally have no idea what that ending was. I usually like Morrison's stuff, but as a story this wasn't my cup of tea. Heck I doubt I could actually even summarize the plot, it's the Finnegan's Wake of comics and I've never liked Joyce.

I haven't read it yet but from what Doc has said, and something else I read today, I'm not surprised.
As I've said many times : the heart of the story is made or broken by the ending.

I feel like the pieces were much better than the whole, which is weird as with Morrison it's usually the other way around with the individual pieces not always being the greatest on their own in isolation but the over stretching story being fantastic.

Just read it, and I'm usually a Morrison fan, but I'm not feeling it.
It was like Final Crisis kinda and maybe it was supposed to be beyond our understanding or something. I get that the multiverse is back, and I loved certain bits throughout and some of the individual issues were great, but I still don't understand Nix Uotan's role or the Gentry.
Fail in that regard.

Morrison is known however for vast and enthralling grand storylines which fizzle into nonsensical or inane endings, so it wasn't too much of a surprise. I just focused on enjoying the ride.
