All I can say is....WOW! Geoff Johns seems to be on the verge of another Blackest Night with his new event "The Darkseid War". It is revealed the Metron's chair - the Mobius Chair is from the Anti-Monitor who's other name is......Mobius! It turns out that the New 52 continuity is still in flux because the multiverse has experienced too many crises in too little of time in between. Metron warns the Anti-Monitor that if he destroys the universe again, it will not be able to repair itself and in the process, he will incur Darkseid's wrath. The Anti-Monitor tells Metron that is exactly what he wants as Darkseid is the key to ending his personal curse that turned him into the Anti-Monitor.
The art in this issue is phenomenal. There's a 2 page recap of Crisis On Infinite Earths by Phil Jimenez that is just awe-inspiring. There are also pages from Kevin MaGuire, Jerry Ordway, Jason Fabok, and Jim Lee. While I'm really enjoying Convergence, I think THIS is DC's real event of the year. 10/10 stars!

I may have to camp out sometimes next week at the Comic Book Store that's two hours away and make it a day event and bring (gulp!) $40-$60 in cash for CB's and check this ONE out - the New Comic Book Store is very good in re-ordering additional books through DC Comics and I should have no problems getting them. They even mail them out to your home if you like and I have done that quite repeatedly in the past.

Between all of the awesome artists and uber-interesting storyline, I highly recommend getting this one.
