Today is Batman day to commemorate the release of Detective Comics #27 in 1939...

Dc Entertainment wants it to be July 23rd for some reason, but today is the anniversary of the release of his first appearance. Even heard a blurb on the radio at work this afternoon about it.
I don't have a Tec #27 to read, but I do have this....
