We were talking about Trump withholding information, not those two jokers. Those two jokers represent the current Democratic Party... If not, then please explain what separates them from Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker and the like? The only even remotely moderate democrat on the left is Biden...lol. Are you actually suggesting that the footage of Donald Trump contained in those links isn't credible because you don't like the websites themselves? Is there any footage of Trump or evidence directly from his mouth that you will accept? Him saying that women who have abortions will be punished? His "both sides" comment? His ridicule of a man with physical disabilities? His "real heroes don't get captured" comments? Him encouraging violence at his rallies? His claim that he doesn't know who David Duke is years after him making it clear that he knows the guy? Is there anything coming from this guy you love so much that you will accept as true? |

OK, I'm locking this thread because it's all getting much too heated and personal. There have been at least three members, in the last page or two of posts, who have broken the forum rules about attacking their fellow posters with personal remarks, which is completely unacceptable.
It's been said over and over in this thread: attack the policies and the politicians, but not each other.
UPDATE (19th July, 2019): So, after some lengthy discussions, the moderators have decided that this thread will be closed for good.
Initially, it was locked over some fracas or other, with the idea being that we would unlock it again in a week or two. But nobody it seems is champing at the bit to have it reopened or has even bothered to contact us about it. The accepted wisdom was that having a dedicated Politics Thread stopped political discussions from spilling over into other threads. But so far, over two months after it was locked, we've not seen that happening at all.
Sadly, this thread often brought out the worst in otherwise sensible, well-mannered people, and was an almost consistent source of trouble, causing permanent rifts between posters and even making some people leave the forum altogether. The moderating staff just feel that the community as a whole is better off without it. The Classic Comics Forum is a forum for discussing vintage comic books. We wouldn't have a sex or a religion thread here, so why have a political one?
Ultimately, if you want to have political discussions with people online, the Classic Comics Forum really isn't the place for that.
