Jeb Bush expands on his comment about Asian anchor babies. His speech included this little gem: Railing against "political correctness" has become a dogwhistle for people who don't like being criticized. It's not politically correct to criticize the phrasing of someone who's running for president. So you just need to sit down and keep quiet when he is done talking. Take a moment and ponder what you can do to make the powerful privileged candidate feel more comfortable and stop being all judgey.

Seriously. We try to teach children to be polite, to not have diarrhea of the mouth, that not everything that comes to mind needs to be said. But then someone like Trump comes along and is lauded by some for "Telling it like it is." No. He's not telling it like it is. He's acting like a toddler. It's not "politically correct" to expect adults to not be assholes.

Politically Correct = someone called me on being an asshole. Specifically a racist, bigoted, misogynistic, or otherwise prejudiced asshole.

Not necessarily disagreeing on the sentiment, but let's keep the tone and language in check. We're not quite over the line yet, but we're skirting it.

OAN is available on Verizon FIOS and so I have it as a cable selection. Lucky me! If anybody else decides to look for it, be careful! I almost flipped past it because it was listed as "1 America."
The interview, as near as I can tell, is at 7 pm Pacific, on a show called "On Point with Sarah Palin."

Chris Christie favors non-discrimination laws for LGBT.I still don't think I'd vote for him, but that certainly improves my opinion of him as a person.
