A Third of Republicans Think Obama Is Invading TexasAmong Ted Cruz's supporters it's 56%. It's about that many that thought Obama was the literal antichrist from Revelations as well.

Ted Cruz's father weighs in on same-sex marriage. And he compares "silent Christians" to Germans who didn't speak up during the Third Reich. So everybody take a drink! I will give him credit for not comparing himself to Anne Frank.

A Third of Republicans Think Obama Is Invading TexasAmong Ted Cruz's supporters it's 56%. Soon after that, they were begging Obama to send troops to Texas. And suddenly seemed quite fond of federal welfare as well.

As pre-9/11 Dennis Miller said: "You want gun control? Get rid of the metal detectors in the Capital Building."

I have to admit that I've come to the conclusion that George Carlin was right about politics. And just about everything else. This sums up my feelings perfectly.

I have to admit that I've come to the conclusion that George Carlin was right about politics. And just about everything else. This sums up my feelings perfectly. It's why I haven't even registered or ever plan to. A lot of why I don't talk about the subject. The ridiculous notion that these men and women that come from the same stock as us are somehow suppose to rise above and be better than any other random individual person is ludicrous. If you can't hold yourself to a standard, then how are you going to demand it of someone else?

Bernie Sanders is doing better than expected in the early primary states. I'm always disturbed when folks say, "Don't vote for that guy because he'll never win." So, if you're conceding he's the better candidate, and the only thing keeping you from voting for him is that he isn't favored to win, haven't we then abandoned all pretenses of this being a democracy? Should we just wait for the Koch Brothers' official endorsement before we go to the polls?

Well taking the quiz I got a 90% match with Sanders and 87% with Clinton. The highest scoring Republican candidate based on my answers was Christie at 39%. But we will see how the election process plays out and who is still in the field and who has entered the field when November 2016 rolls around. -M
