It seems like almost every major character in the Marvel and DC Universes has "met" or "crossed over" with other characters in their respective universes. I am wondering about major characters that have actually never met.
Has Conan ever met Thor? Has Silver Surfer ever met Daredevil?
Let this be the thread to ask these questions and get answers if such crossovers do exist.

My knowledge of Marvel comics is far from complete but I know Thor and Conan met in the imaginary What If? #38. I don't know if they've ever met in continuity but this was a fun story anyway!

I'm actually surprised Conan interacted with Thor. Because of him being a licensed character, the potential future problems of collecting the material. Then again, TPB's weren't what they are today back then.

Thanks for that! I doubt that Spider-Woman has met Batwoman. I figured examples of cross company cross overs would be difficult, outside of big names. I know there is this for Batman/Daredevil. Not sure if its the first but its only example I can think of.

Then again, TPB's weren't what they are today back then. That happened all the time with Bronze Age Marvel. It's why the Marvel Two-in-One collections are missing #21 (Doc Savage) and #99 (ROM).

Daredevil and Silver Surfer teamed up in Waid's Daredevil, too.

I'm still not convinced Superman #76 was the first time Batman and Superman met in comics. There just had to be a meeting somewhere in those thirteen years they'd been DC's top properties prior to that, and I don't mean the radio serial.

The duo met twice prior to Superman #76, in All-Star Comics #7 and again in #36. Cei-U! I summon the precedents!
