How about....The Punisher and Aunt May? Huh. I thought you were joking, but this apparently happened in Web of Spider-Man Annual #6 (1990 [of course!]). I won't recap it; the panel speaks for itself.
 Conway, Andru, and Esposito are the guilty parties here.

Has Electro ever battled the FF?
Also...pretty sure I am reading the first every meeting of DD and Wolverine in this issue. If it happened sooner please forgive me but the dialogue between the two in the opening pages suggests they have never met before.

Thanks Phil! I was serious about wondering if they'd met - The Punisher running into someone like Deathlok, Wolverine, or The Destroyer doesn't really interest me in the same way that I can't imagine Aunt May running into Johnny Storm and telling him what a fine young man he is would make compelling reading, but someone like Aunt May bumping into Frank Castle while he's staking out the Daily Bugle or something would give writers a lot to work with.

They had been in the same room for Marvel's Contest of Champions, but I do believe that it is indeed the first time they interacted. This is also the first time Wolverine's healing factor was shown to be efficient enough to allow him to recover from multiple gunshot wounds in a matter of minutes. Prior to that, his healing factor was just that: a surprising capacity to recover from grievous wounds. It was not a magical "get instantly better" superpower. |

I think the first meeting may have been earlier if we count a 1978 episode of the The New Fantastic Four cartoon, "The Menace of Magneto"  I suppose it isn't the first meeting in continuity but it was pretty fun. Edit: oops, take away my geek cred, I read Electro but thought Magneto. |

That wouldn't be the FF's first meeting with Magneto anyway. He was the villain in Fantastic Four #102-04 back in 1970.

Marvel Team-Up annual #4 is the one I remember, which had several street level heroes vs. the Purple Man.

Is that the 2014 series? Seems like a recent meeting considering! I will throw a few more out there, I like seeing how fast some of you folks respond. This one should have happened: Thor and Punisher This one I am betting could be a challenge: Scorpion and Hobgoblin I will bump these two and see if they get any response... |
