Please post no more than one nomination for the best contest or games thread (use your own definition) in our first year of the CCF (between April 30th, 2014 at 9:22pm EST and April 30, 2015 at 9:21pm EST). 2. You must explain why you are nominating this thread. 3. Please second no more than one nomination made by another member. You may not second your own nomination. 4. Any thread receiving both a nomination and a second will be included in the final ballot for this award on May 25th. 5. Nominations and Seconds for this round conclude on May 10th. 6. Absolutely NO negative talk about another member, nor another member's nomination. The very purpose of this event is to salute our members and their contributions for all they've added to this community. Though only one thread will ultimately receive this award, you have the potential to thank and maybe touch members with any thread you choose to nominate or second. Please don't use this opportunity to hurt or deflate someone. So start your nominating! |

Best thread that I look forward to is the Classic Cover Contest. Love that thread and if it was the only one here, I would still be a member. It is a great way to see a bevy of covers in a wide variety of inventive topics/subjects.

I consider the One Letter Off Thread a game, and it's absolutely my favorite. Admittedly, I gave my best material to that thread when we were still at the old site, but I absolutely love seeing the zany stuff others have come up with and wish the thread would see more action. I hereby nominate said thread! |

I nominate the CCF Film Club, not only is it fun picking new themes when you watch the most of another user's choice but I love seeing and talking about what everyone else is watching.

Another nod for the Classic Cover Contest. Kudos to whomever decided to bring that one over from the other board. Playing both games I've noticed that not only do we have more participants but also the conversation is far richer and more fun than at that other place.

Even though it hasn't been played for a while, but I nominate the Random List Thread. It is not always comic related and its just fun listing stuff of nonsensical silliness. One list might be about video games, another might be about favorite moustached TV characters...
