Because of my Dad death and all; I told my Coach and Teammates yesterday at a swim practice and decided not to undergo a 50 Match Season and weigh myself at the same time. I'm at 252 pounds and I started out nearly at 272. During this weigh loss and all - I lost 20 pounds and I'm sticking to that for the time being. No Water Polo until Fall.

(total loss of 47 lbs exactly). Yay me! last time I wore that shirt was 2009, and last time I fit in those shorts (waist 38) was prolly 2002. (yeah, I'm a packrat and don't throw away clothes I outgrow. .shush!) and I guess, I'm in the queue - tho still on the other side waiting to get past the velvet rope -- of the 50lb club! Amazing! Great job.

Still stuck in the endless plateau. Have joined the gym at work - idea is to sneak off and get some cardio in during the day and maybe do weights at the local gym (not on the same day), as I just can't fit enough hours into the day to do a full cardio session outside of work hours.
We'll see how that works out...

I don't think this is a 'real' number, since my Husband (love typing that!), got me nice and sick over the weekend, and I'm still not eating or drinking much. . so think it's because I'm dehydrated.

My office started one of those "Biggest Loser" contests a couple of weeks ago, and since my motivation to join the gym had been pretty low in December and January, I decided to sign up. $5 initial entry fee, $2 into the kitty if you gain weight, and $1 if you stay flat, with the person losing the largest percentage of weight getting a yet-unrevealed prize at the end, is a good motivator for me, as I hate to give away any of my hard-earned money.
My results thus far:
January 22, 2016 - 224 January 29, 2016 - 222 February 5, 2016 - 220
It's been done on a combination of continuing my intermittent fasting program as well as getting to the gym three days last week and four days this week. The contest runs through the beginning of April, with my goal being to get down to 210.

Finally starting to see a bit of downward movement, with new lows yesterday and today, taking me down to 172.8 (-47.2). Still not feeling up to much exercise except walking.

Oh well. . still not too bad.
Back from my Doctor follow up.
He was very pleased that I'm 53lbs lighter, and says I'm no longer considered "Pre-Diabetic" (he was very happy with all of my numbers).
AND he took me off one of the Blood Pressure meds I was on (yay).

New low today of 171 (-49.0), though it's an unreal one, for the same reason as Bert's (no, not the husband, the upset stomach)
