Sorry to hear about the work stress Bert - that's one thing I don't miss since I converted over to being a contractor. thanks. I keep telling Nick I'm gonna quit and just go find a 9-5 job at a supermarket or bookstore. .he's freaking out that I'd even consider taking a minimum wage job. He'd prefer for me to stay white-collar in the Tech Industry. I just dunno how this is gonna end up. . .

You might find a better work-life balance in a new job in which your tech skills transfer over well.

Finally hit a new low today, just, at 163.0000. After a day out at the football, I suspect I will not be seeing that weight again for a few days...

I'm anticipating a nice weight loss tomorrow morning. But more importantly, I'm controlling the food and it's not controlling me.

I would love to just go work in a simple job, with set hours where once the place closes? you're DONE until tomorrow (he says, as he's still logged into work to interact w/ SGP teammate). but Dragon*con is in 3 weeks..I can make it. . just need to focus on that short term goal! oh and weighed myself on Friday, and was 175.6. . so at least I'm not gaining from the stress.

Them's good numbers folks, well done one and all To be really pedantic, I'm coming down from 220 rather than 210 - I probably didn't start posting until I'd already lost a bit. But those pounds count, goldarnit!

For myself, I used the actual number that I was the day when I made the initial post , as I'm sure I weighed more before that. But no way am I going to rob you of your amazing accomplishment. well done !

Right Now - I'm at 261 up from 257, and I should be down to 250 in a month from now and even down to 240 by the end of September. The 50 Match Season is spread out until the end of February and they just expanded the playoff of which the top 8 teams per division makes it and that is spread out another 20 matches that will end around March. It will be a very grueling season and I should be around 235 when it's all over.

This is my new low since starting this thread. I now have 13 days left in which to lose 4 pounds to make my goal of 198.8. I think I can go lower but I'll see how I feel.

Hey guys I would like to join you here and participate with my expereince. I have always struggled with this. Unfortunately I very much have enherited my dad´s genes when it comes to weight and those are not great. After a long summer break which included two weeks vacation, a music festival and a beer festival in Berlin I have reached a new top weight and I am officially heavier now then I have ever been standing at 105 kilo (so about 231 lbs Google tells me?). Fortunately I am also just by nature heavy build and pretty darn strong so working out is not really a major problem and I have managed to do it 3 times this week so far.

Excersise is great but 99% of losing weight is what you eat. Try to find a eating plan that works for you and dedicate yourself to it. Simon Garth and bert are great examples on how a person can totally transform themselves. Good luck.
