Not sure how Diamond numbers are, or what the actual sales totals for digital were, but Secret Wars set the all time record for Marvel single day sales/download, beating previous record holder Ms. Marvel (whose digital sales were said anecdotally to be higher than it's print sales for #1). For all we know the single day record could be 23 copies, or 230,000 copies, or anywhere in between, but it does seem that there is more interest out there for this than some were anticipating. Will sales carry over to #2 is another big question. But as long as events like this keep selling well (and shattering single day sales records such as they are), we'll keep getting a steady diet of these from Marvel.
