This is beyond awesome! My only question is why this isn't called Justice League?

We now have a live action Rip Hunter...what a time to be alive. I eagerly await live action Metal Men, Alpha Flight, Outsiders, Inferior 5, Angel and the Ape, Great Lakes Avengers, Challengers of the Unknown, Infinity Inc., Sea Devils...
I promise I type this with no sarcasm at all. I'm lovin' this.

Atom shrinks! I don't need any more to be sold on this.

Looks good. DC is probably saving the Justice League branding for their movie line.

I love this too. I am very pleased that the Flash and Arrow are going to have at least a small part in this.
I am so excited about the White Canary. This is a brilliant idea.
I can hardly wait!

I plan on watching, but I'm not sure how good it will be. On one hand, it's an interesting mix of characters. I'm glad to see Caity Lotz return, since she was so good as the Canary.
On the other hand, it could get a little messy. I watch both Arrow and The Flash. But I watch those shows in spite of flaws, not because I think they're perfect. I think both shows tend to paint themselves in a corner and then just plow through. Arrow has Team Arrow working with Malcolm Merlyn to a degree that seems to much given what he did to Sarah. A big part of the last two episodes of The Flash has been addressing a couple of its big problems. What could be a problem with Legends of Tomorrow is how it cannibalized the two existed shows for the sake of turning out a third show. The need to place several already introduced characters in the ensemble could present problems. First, it appears Robbie Amell isn't in LoT. I wonder if this is due to an unwillingness to commit to a TV series and forgo other opportunities. So we may end up seeing Firestorm reworked. Will he be just Martin Stein? Will he still include Ronnie Raymond but with gimmicks (obscured fiery face) to hide the lack of Robbie Amell? Will we see someone introduced as a new other half?
And taking away Captain Cold and Heatwave could harm The Flash. Cold could've been the key figure in the Rogues. It looked like they were gearing up for that. But now I worry that the ability of The Flash to tell stories with the Rogues will be limited.

I saw some images of the time sphere and it looks like they hyper-evolved George Pal's Time Machine from 1960 I personally love the design
