Did they update their multiverse map because it's gotta be teeming with variant worlds now (worlds that were not originally recognized prior to Multiversity and Convergance)

Why can't Wally West be the ONLY Flash in the regular Flash title, with Barry, Jay, or even Bart starring in their own non-continuity series? Or why can't they all have series that all matter?
That's where we are.
It's a beautiful thing as far as I'm concerned.

It sounds like that's exactly what they're going to do, Shax. I'll take peering through intergalactic portals as a frame if that's the result... or not. Not if they're disrupting the continuity of the main universe in order to explain these alternate universes. No, it doesn't matter. It's a ridiculous paradox, but it's comics...
It's basically what everyone wanted. It all counts, it all matters...
Like life, it doesn't fit into easy boxes... (That's my take, though.)
Glorious and stupid at the same time...
Welcome to comics!

Okay, here is my Christmas list:
Justice League Satellite - stories of the pre-Crisis 16 member JLA
Shadow of the Bat - tales of the pre-Crisis Earth-2 Batman (Dick Grayson) and Huntress (Helena Wayne)
The Speed Force - team-up adventures of the pre-New 52 Jay Garrick, Wally West, Jesse Quick, Impulse (Bart Allen), and XS
Nightwing/Oracle - the continuing adventures of the newly wedded couple from Convergence: Nightwing/Oracle (Black Canary guest stars often)
Green Lantern/Green Arrow - Hal and Ollie with Dinah! (Speedy Roy Harper and Air Wave guest star sometimes)
Wonder Girl (Donna Troy)
All-Star Comics - JSA featuring Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, Wildcat, Dr. Fate, Hawkman, Huntress, Batman (Dick Grayson), and Power Girl
I am probably not getting any of this, but I would be SO happy to have these things!

That's ALOT of Dick Grayson... I love him too, but I don't think that's happening I'd rather see Dick as Batman with Damian as Robin if you're going to go that route... and I'd definitely rather have a Wolfman/Perez Titans book than Wonder girl solo... I'll take a Kyle Rayner/Donna Troy title instead ... make her a Darkstar again, or give her a power ring, or just Wonder Girl powers... whatever I think a Flash book that has rotating stories in different worlds would be amazing... call it 'Flash Comics' again (hell, continue the golden age numbering, even), and make it a 48 pager with 3 stories a book... or even 100 pages quarterly ala the digital reprint of Legends of the Dark Knight. Hell, you could do that will alot of the titles... Flash, Green Lantern, Superman/Batman Family, etc.... make'em anthology style like Manga...4 or 5 8-10 page chapters each... I'd pay $4.99 for that!

Where we need to be is DC publishing titles from these other continuities that are not part of some giant event or tied into a media property. Only then will I be satisfied.

I have a giant shopping list too.
Pre-Crisis Justice League of America (satellite era) Justice League International with the "Usual Gang of Idiots" in front of and behind the pencil Justice Society of America (now with more Infinity Inc.) All-Star Squadron (lots more World War II to go) Captain Marvel (and friends) Superboy (when Superman was a boy) Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew Freedom Fighters (set on Earth X where they take down the Nazis and then deal with the aftermath) Speed Force (Wally, Bart and the rest of the gang) Legion (various Legions of Super-Heroes stories that change from arc to arc) Titans (same as above, except with the various Teen Titan teams) Adventures of Superman (same concept) Legends of the Dark Knight (same concept) JLA (same concept, these last three have a LOT of continuities to draw from)

It will be interesting to see what kind of announcement DC makes over the next few months-Special Edition NY is this weekend and I know Marvel has some big announcements supposedly for stuff that will be solicited in Sept. for post Secret Wars releases, so it will be interesting if DC addresses post-Convergence plans here, at SDCC or at NYCC in the fall. If nothing is announced at these three shows, then it will be a sign nothing is currently in the works and we might have to wait until the hype machine starts again with Emerald City in the spring to see the big announcements from them that they want to control the comics newscycle for a while. SDCC will likely be more about their film slate than comics as Marvel Studios is skipping SDCC this year giving them the center stage, so I expect announcements of any further new books to come this weekend or in the fall in NY. Books soliciting in Sept would be those released just about the time the minis in the first batch of post-Convergence titles are wrapping up so could fill those slots in the publishing slate. They may also look at launching some weeklies to follow the second volume of Batman Eternal, as they did fairly well sales wise with Future's End and the Earth2 mini.
However, I still think they are going to see how the DCYou titles play out before committing to a new initiative of titles. But time will tell. Bob Wayne, their long time sales guru did not make the move to Burbank, so whoever takes over may well have their own plans how to attack market share that do not resemble what DC has done the past 4-5 years.

I am pretty sure that DC is going to offer a new Supergirl title in October or November. I wonder what it will be like?
