A film adaptation of a third Clowes work (following Ghost World and Art School Confidential) is moving forward. Clowes will again write the screenplay, and Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern have been attached to the project to play the leads.

The Ghost World film was really my first exposure to Clowes, a name I had always heard but never checked out before seeing the film. I still haven't seen Art School, but this new film does look intriguing.
