Looks like they are trying to get Fox to cancel the series for mocking the Bible, disrespecting Christianity and portraying Lucifer as a good guy... storyWhy doesn't it surprise me that someone would target this show...it was just a lottery of who. -M

*sigh* Of course they are...
Why do we give these people the attention they're looking for?

DC/WB and Fox eats up this kind of attention because it will draw viewers to the show who would have never noticed its existence otherwise, just to see what the ballyhoo is about. An early influx of viewers can extend the life of a borderline show allowing it to get a full season order or to sell ad time in later episodes that keeps the show afloat. So groups like OMM will likely never succeed in killing a show, but their attention can sure have the opposite effect and draw attention to shows/movies/comics/ that would have otherwise gone under the radar. They just aren't savvy enough to realize their efforts have the opposite effect than their desired outcome.

I would have thought Preacher would have generated a bigger outcry.
I hadn't even heard of the Lucifer tv series, now that would be something. A little bit concerned with the description though
"he retires to Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD punish criminals." What's that about??

Yeah, the press sounds terrible.. I just hope the show runners have actually read the comic and it at least mildly resembles it. My hopes are pretty low, though... I'd feel alot better if some mention of the piano bar, or Mazikeen. Also, is David Bowie busy? Because he should totally be in the 1st episode... I understand they're not going to actually cast him as the star, but a cameo would be nice

I would have thought Preacher would have generated a bigger outcry. Maybe if they knew anything about the shows beyond the titles...

I'm with them. I don't approve of it being a police procedural either.
It seems nothing like the excellent Mike Carey comic.
