George Miller of Mad Max Fury Road fame has an in production Justice League movie that had been fully cast in 2007 to be titled: Justice League Mortal that had a 2009 release date scheduled from Warner Brothers, but the studio scrapped the entire thing before it was filmed. A documentary on the pre-production work on the film is being planned by Ryan Unicomb, and to promote the potential documentary, production art from the Miller film was released on twitter today....

This is the character design for Aquaman...
who was set to be played by Santiago Cabrera (of Merlin and Heroes fame)
and a couple of pieces of Wonder Woman in action art...
with Megan Gale (of the aforementioned MAd MAx Fury Road fame) set to have played Wonder Woman.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would have been a whole lot more excited about the prospect of this JL film than I am anything helmed by Goyer, Snyder and crew.
