So, even though it's like super duper triple sized, the conclusion of the Franklin-verse story and the fight with the quiet man only takes up about a regular issue worth and it's... the Incredibles movie re-done. I guess we should have know, what with the red outfits at the start.
Surprisingly, it ends on a warm, fuzzy note, no sign of the team splitting up at all.. quite the opposite, in fact. The rest of the book a bunch of warm fuzzy backups, one with Sue and Franklin, one with Johnny and a surprising guest, one with Ben, and one with Reed and Valeria... all of them were neat little character bits, and far better than the real story.
There's also a fun insert with lots of past and current creators talking about their favorite FF covers... Of course, Hickman picks one from HIS run, because he's just that awesome.
Very, very odd that this didn't feel like an ending at all, but rather a 'reset back to status quo for the next writer'.
