I love Black Canary's new logo. It's perfect.
I like the artwork. The coloring is very interesting. I wouldn't want ALL comic books to go this route, but it's kind of charming to have ONE like this.
I like that she has variants of her costume. I LOVE that she is more interested in helping people than singing.
I am not at all interested in the rock-'n-roll scene. However, all of the other points might keep me buying this title for awhile. Hopefully, at some point, she will have some super-villains to fight too.
I am on for #1.

Black Canary has never had a solo title that actually worked. I guess I just really want this one to be successful because I like the character so much.

If every issue consists of Black Canary beating up concert attendees, I'll get bored really quick. Hopefully they give her a rogues gallery of super-villains including Lady Shiva, Bonfire, and Nyssa Al Ghul. |
